Everything. So hard to find a great hotel with mixed reviews on them all. This was a perfect location and had all the needs - quieter, always hot showers, good breakfast, great staff and immaculate property with lots of outside courtyards and areas . In San Blas area but at the bottom of the hill so less walking up. (father and 16 yo daughter pre Inca Trail 4 day). Stored luggage during our hike, arranged airport taxis, gave advice on trips without obligation, arranged takeaway breakfast for our 3am pick up ( Rainbow Mtn) had security day and night and 24 hr reception. Safe location - it’s all relatively very good in this area. Clean room and cleaned daily. Free cocoa tee and tea selection 24hr. Great Lounge area open all day/ night. Stayed October and always warm in room.

Really struggling to criticise anything.

It’s in a very quiet part of the city but still within 5 minutes walk of the bust centre. Inside the gates it feels like an oasis of calm. It’s very comfortable and clean but don’t go expecting a luxury hotel. Room had all that you need with being over the top Breakfast was just okay. Not a huge choice but it was acceptable Staff here speak really good English and are exceptionally helpful. I left the hotel for two long excursions and they looked after my luggage and arranged all my laundry while i was gone. They offer free pick up from the airport which I only found out by chance.

Nothing to dislike as long as you accept it’s not a 5 star luxury resort

We actually stayed here on two separate occasions and we loved it both times. It really is a beautiful hotel that for once could really accurately be described as 'boutique'! The whole place was very classy, beautifully furnished with some nice outdoor courtyard, a wonderful breakfast room complete with roaring log fire for this chilly Cusco mornings. Our rooms were very spacious with views over the central courtyard and we even got a free upgrade to a suite on our second stay! The staff were very professional and really helpful in organising anything from taxis to laundry. The location is good, on the edge of the trendy picturesque San Blas district and less than 10 minutes from Plaza De Armas. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it!

I absolutely loved staying here. Five nights in December. - location is very near many of the key sights, near tons of restaurants of all kinds, ditto with shopping. This made my first day when I was feeling the altitude a bit still very enjoyable. - I’m going to miss the breakfast! Fresh squeezed juices. Eggs made to order. Selection of fruits. The worst coffee you may ever have tasted - but I was drinking the coca tea. Bread for toast and jam. A selection of meats. A selection of oatmeal like things that I never tried. And more. It was served from 5am to 10am to allow for food before early tours or airport flights. - room was quite comfortable. Spacious. Clean function bathroom. Fridge. - inexpensive same day laundry service. I’m going to miss that too. - staff were kind, friendly, informative, helpful and competent.

Excellent location, easy walk around Old Town Cusco. Cute surroundings with lovely courtyards. Friendly staff - 24hr front desk / porter and they helped us arrange various trips around the Sacred Valley. Plus airport pickups! Excellent breakfast (with long hours - good for early starts!) Large comfortable beds and rooms. Decent sized bathrooms with good hot water pressure. Additionally, hotel stored our bags whilst we went to Machu Picchu!

We unplugged the mini-fridge in the room at night because a bit noisy - but that’s being very picky, everything was great.

Very friendly and helpful reception staff and doorman. We were very grateful for their calm and prompt assistance when we were struggling with altitude after tackling Rainbow mountain. Close to the centre of town but quiet at night. Quirky decor and traditional ambience.

The bathroom lacked a window or extractor fan. The solution was an internal ‘vented window’ that meant we could hear every word being said in the adjacent bedroom. It being a traditional courtyard style building, there were no ‘external’ windows in the bedroom.

1. airport transfer to the hotel is free (need to pay if going to the airport from hotel): we asked for it upon arrival at cusco Airport only and Jesus the hotel staff was flexible enough to arrange straightaway. 2. location - it is very close to the la blas street and main square, good for souvenir shopping 3. we were given a very quiet room on the top floor

nothing - just a reminder for future travellers: there are a lot of staircase inside the hotel (which I believe is the same case for many hotels in the area), so if you are not good with stairs, you may want to ask for a room on the lower floors

Beautiful hotel in a great location in Cusco. Room was lovely, shower was great and the breakfast was wonderful. Little tables and parasols in the courtyards for relaxing. Free water fountain and 24 hour tea making facilities in the lounge. Nicely located 5 minutes from the centre.

Not didn't like, but just be sure to close your curtains. The hotel is an old hacienda, built around multiple courtyards. I was surprised by 2 people sailing past my window...on the second floor :-)

Very nice hotel in a historical building - we didn't expect it to be so charming! Comfortable and clean room and bathroom, with heating, no problems with hot water. The breakfast starts really early, which is crucial while spending vacation in Cusco. And the breakfast is good - fresh fruits and juices, vegetables, eggs of choice, coffee. Very helpful staff - they let us leave the suitcases in a hotel for two days, while we were in Machu Picchu. After this we returned to this hotel again, and our suitcases were waiting already in our new room. Perfect service! Central location also

Everything was wonderful!

This hotel was so tastefully and thoughtfully furnished that it was a pleasure to stay in. The staff were amazing and took care of our every need. The breakfast was also fantastic. Coca and other teas were available throughout the day in the reception. The location couldn't be bettered - really close to the plaza and all shops and restaurants. We did a couples hot stone massage and our masseuses Elsa and Kelly were very good. Overall it was a wonderful stay. We will definitely stay here again if we return.
