The comfort and finish of the hotel is amongst the best I have stayed in. A really good nights sleep despite late arrival. We had a nice view of the city. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

One annoyance for us - We arrived very late and the next morning, on a whim decided to add on breakfast as we were up later than expected. The rate charged was significantly more than the rate on booking.com and we only arrived 15 mins before breakfast closed. The buffet was cleared promptly on closing time without checking if we needed anything else. Price seemed excessive for what we actually received.

We stayed in a room with club access which was absolutely worth the extra money. Food and drinks are provided in the lounge all day. The breakfast was very good as well, very fresh breads and a good choice of food. The swimming pool was nice with sauna and steam room and 1 plunge bath. Room was comfortable, not noisy being on the 39th floor.

The room smelt of smoke, according to the staff because the place is already old (13 years?). They gave us an airprurifier to combat the smell and even manage to open the window, which is not an entirely good idea with all the smog outside. But it helped somewhat.

The hotel is great with the service and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. The location is ok too, there isn’t a shopping centre around, but it is close to the city centre. The concierge staff, September is amazing with her services and bring the service to the next level. It is definitely an asset to the hotel. No regret at all to stay at this hotel. I had dinner at Lixuan Chinese Restaurant, Stella who served us was great. I would like to recognise both September and Stella. Please pass my recognition to them and hopefully the hotel will show the appreciation to them.

Nothing. If I must have a negative, I will say that if the transportation service is provided to the guest, I would suggest that the hotel can at least provide twice a day for the guests for the convenience.

I had a truly memorable stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, with a genuine focus on guest experience. A special mention goes to one of the breakfast staff who noticed I follow a vegetarian diet. Since the vegetarian options weren’t clearly labeled, she kindly arranged for the kitchen to prepare a special meal just for me and personally brought it over. Such thoughtful service really stood out. The room was spotless, with high-quality toiletries and excellent amenities. I loved the pillow menu — a small touch that made a big difference — and the bed was very comfortable. The location is ideal for tourists, with easy access to the main attractions and transport options. Suggestion for improvement: It would be great to have a fresh juice station at breakfast, allowing guests to mix and match fruits and enjoy freshly made juices on the spot. Overall, a fantastic experience. Highly recommend this hotel for its service, comfort, and convenience.

The pool, fitness center, and spa were excellent, and the breakfast buffet was impressive, with a wide variety of Asian and Western options.

Check-in was slow, and there was confusion about our booking—we had reserved one double room and one twin double room for our family, but this wasn’t clearly understood. Communication at the reception could be improved, especially in English, which you'd expect to be fluent at a luxury hotel. We were offered an upgrade that gave us more space and connecting rooms, which was convenient, but it also doubled the cost of our original booking.

I stayed in a business suite. Hotel makeup our room twice a day. But i confirmed with the manager that they did this to all room. And I am very happy to receive small gifts everytime they make the room. The service was good, staff greeted us every time we walk past while walking to the lift. Breakfast spread was good. Those who order latte can expect to see a Latte art with a cute Panda .

The spa steam room is not hot as expected. The jazuzzi is not working .

Excellent and attentive and helpful staffs. Excellent dine-in options. Room is very roomy and constructed using excellent materials. Everything is extremely clean. Would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Chengdu.

Everything was great. The staff who scheduled my cab to the airport made the mistake of not asking me where I'm flying to and assumed I'm flying domestic and the cab driver almost dropped me off at the wrong terminal. Though it's not a big deal to me but to some people, it could be.

Excellent set at at Ritz Carlton Chengdu. Only initially planned to stay for one night but ended up staying two! Amazing, friendly staff who are true 5* standard from the front desk manager to the doormen who helped us with our luggage. Rooms nice and big and spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend and will be back. Thank you so much! Kindly upgraded by the staff as well to have a nice view of Chengdu city and rose petals in the room to celebrate an anniversary. Michelle at front desk was very professional and courteous to at check out.

Good breakfast and hotel service was amazing .Staff very welcome, helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable, huge, clean and quiet. Convenient to walk to Chunxi Road about 30 min walk and easy to take taxi. Thank you to Andy Chin. He given us a lot of information about famous spots. Thank you to A.M.Hasnain, Jerry,Sky and the lady who clean my room every day. We had a great time as guest at THE RITZ-CARLTON .We will definitely come back again.

Housekeeping are very resourceful.

I have to wait to check in for a very long time because only 1 staff is checking guests in while the other lady staff was supposedly working on cash exchanging. It was already 21:30, there was not many guests. Should staffed enough to service guests. The last day, the porter was very slow in coming to pick up luggage & didn't bring the trolley. We have to help to bring our bags to floor 25 & then floor 1.
