Stunning location, excellent food and drinks at the onsite restaurant, friendly staff, the infinity pool (of course), well kept grounds, nice and quiet through night, dog friendly for those travelling with canine friends, access to Lake Argyle boat tours.

Only thing we would suggest is installing flyscreen doors on the 2BR cabins to reduce reliance on air conditioning and allow air flow. Also suggest providing recycling bins if possible. Otherwise loved our stay and would love to come back

We stayed in a Lakeside Cabin with our two kids and it was magical. Highly recommend it. The coffee is great at the restaurant, but there are no breakfast options - be sure to bring your own breakfast. The cabins have great kitchenette facilities. I made a huge mistake and got our check out date wrong. Kelsey at reception was incredible - she was so friendly and helpful; not only did she managed to secure us another night of accomodation, she moved things around so we wouldn’t have the inconvenience of moving cabins. A real lifesaver.

We had to book the adjoining cabin as a family of four, even though both (young) kids ended up sleeping in the one room with us (which had more than enough space for a little fold out mattress). The other room was a very expensive store room in the end. A little more flexibility with allowing families with young kids to just book one cabin would have made this perfect.

The lake view cabins are the top pick here. Quiet, away from the noise of the pool and the road. Watching sunrise and sunset from here is amazing.

Despite saying they have a well stocked shop, it is not stocked with anything you can use to self cater. As we came across the border, we had no groceries with us. Rookie error! If you plan to self cater, even just for breakfast and snacks, you must bring your own groceries!

Quiet retreat. Well appointed cabin with useful kitchenette. Bathroom was well designed and clean, and appreciated having racks for towels and shelves for toiletries. Handy parking by cabin. Infinity pool overlooking lake and escarpment was breathtaking experience!

No table or chair inside room. Outdoor furniture on patio was available so brought inside for use as needed to give back a rest.

We have stayed at Lake Argyle Resort before and I have personally stayed many times over the years. The scenery and tranquillity is outstanding and there is plenty to see and do. Just sitting on the balcony of the cabin in the late afternoon sipping a cold drink in the peace and quiet while watching the ranges and the lake change colours is amazing. Hopefully any new developments will complement the unique bush feel and atmosphere of the place. The cabins we stayed in were very clean and comfortable. My mother who was a first time visitor was enchanted by the place.

If you want to stay close to Lake Argyle this is the best option. Beautiful location, good facilities, nice little pub at the park (only option for buying meals) and a good store for essentials. Stayed in a cabin which was quite comfortable. Basic, small but comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Quite expensive (cabin option) but only option close to lake and worth it for a short stay.

Love everything about Lake Argyle 💕 Mother Nature treated us a couple spectacular storms. Lake Argyle Tours was a fabulous experience. Have been in the dry and always wanted to comeback in the wet.....and now we have. Loved the fact that there were so few people.

Lots of relaxing options Amazing historical and engineering significance. And an infinity pool that looks to infinity!

Presuming a chaotic holiday season but some basic housekeeping had been overlooked which was a little disappointing when paying premium holiday prices. The staff, however were apologetic,responsive and attentive to our requests.

The pool and views, the nightly music, the sunset cruise and other local sights. We had a great feed at the resturant. Loved our scenically beautiful, relaxing stay

Room 23 needs the tree branches trimmed so when windy it doesnt bash on the roof allnight keeping us awake and cane toads

The park is well maintained and the views were spectacular.

Food at the restaurant could of been a bit better quality (salt and pepper squid looked and tasted like the Coles frozen stuff and for the price I thought it'd be better quality, but overall the experience was very positive.
