We found everything was great here, the room, the private and public hot bath; the food and the staff. The location of Ryokan Yoshidaya is excellent. It is close to the river where it has a road of sakura. We had a perfect walk in the morning and the view was absolutely gorgeous. We stayed at Worikara, a villa just a stone's throw away from its main ryokan and a perfect place for us to relax and unwind after a day's hike. We liked the breakfast and the dinner which were rich in varieties and taste. Finally, we must give credits to the staff who served us. They were friendly, helpful and patient to answer our questions. The translation system in the mobile phones they were using was perfect to break the language barrier and in fact, some of the staff who served us spoke excellent English. Our only regret was that we had no time to visit its cafe. We would definitely stay at this ryokan again when we visit Fukuoka again next year.

The reception counter is a little bit small but the lobby is very spacious. Check-in may be improved if some can be done in the lobby area. Some ryokans we stayed before served us at tables in the lobby area to complete the check-in matters.

I love the location of the Ryokan. It was towards the edge of the town, next to the river. We booked a private onsen room which was apparently separated from the main building but it's only about 50 ft away and made for a more relaxing experience. Food was excellent and staff was very helpful. Public and private onsen were both very nice.

The whole experience was wonderful. My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. The staff kindly prepared a sparkler surprise with a thoughtful card. It was a suprise and very memeorable. The food was fantastic. The bath was relaxing. Highly recoomend.

We stayed in Ori Sakura. It was very private and spacious. However, the staircase was a little scary and for my partner who is in his late seventies it was a little inconvenient to have to go downstairs from the bedroom to use the bathroom. Not recommended for older couples.

The sleeping area on the other side of the of the room on second floor is a little bit hot where the air condition on the other end does not bring cool air to the where the beds are so I sweat a little bit when I wake up.

The dinner and breakfast is very good.

Our room AC is broken. The room temperature is a bit high. The staff brought us additional fan to cool down the room. They should have check the room AC before.

Well maintained, clean, tastefully decorated villas. The in-Room onsen baths were the best thing here!

The room was really small. It was inconvenient climbing up a steep flight of stairs to the room. Dinner and breakfast was served in a cubicle that had poor lighting and no atmosphere at all.
