The staff treated us like family, except they always had a smile on their face and a friendly welcome each time we returned.

That I forgot to eat a waffle.

I liked the close proximity to the beach as well as the pool and two hot tubs. Robert, the concierge was amazing, friendly helpful. The breakfast was good. I think it would’ve been better if we would’ve not waited so long to go eat, but overall, it was definitely filling.

I know that it happens, but I did not like that when I went to use one of the bath towels after my shower there was clumps of hair from the dryer. There was also fingerprints or something sticky underneath the handle of the sink faucet as well as hair and something else behind the door.

We usually don’t eat breakfast we went down to get coffee and my husband smelled the food and said it make him hungry. It was really good. Even though we came do 15 minutes before it ended the girl working that day was so nice.

When i booked the room I thought we were getting a balcony where you could look and see the water like facing it. It was our honeymoon and my husband has never been to the beach. And the way it was showing the room when I booked it was very different. I wanted him to enjoy everything about the trip. He was a little disappointed that we didn’t have the perfect view. And the pool wasn’t open the whole time we were there because of construction on the building.

Coffee was constantly hot and available and had pastries available.

Galveston could have maintained the seaweed off the shoreline of the beach. Won't be back because of the beach. Take a lesson from Biloxi & Panama Beach as their beaches are well maintained. Nothing against the hotel but Galveston will turn people away because of the beach. The shower wasn't working and needed a new spout going up to the shower and was fixed the next morning.

The price was reasonable. Beach front. Breakfast was very good, with lots of options. The lady who was working the breakfast floor the morning of 6/10/24 was VERY attentive, kind, and quickly helped anyone. The gentleman who worked the desk 06/09/24 @ about 5:30pm was VERY kind and made every effort to make us very satisfied with our stay. Our 2nd Room(after requesting a move due to smell of our 1st room) smelt great. Parking garage with elevator access is very convenient.

**Read to end** The 1st room (#324) we were assigned to(before requesting a different room) smelt too strongly of mold or mildew plus strong cleaner smell. The whole AC front cover just fell off when I touched it exposing mold underneath. Also room #324 there was visible mold inside above the balcony door. Breathing & smelling this made us feel sick to our stomach, so we requested a different room in which they were VERY kind to help with which we were VERY happy and satisfied by.

- friendly and accommodating staff. Had to change booking date twice due to personal reasons and was approved with no issues - complimentary and plentiful parking at the hotel - bright, spacious room - unobstructed sea view (4th floor) - breakfast replenished even to the very last minute of opening - comfy beds - big tv with lots of channels

- toilet tiles were broken - very low shower water water pressure

The location was exceptional, the staff was great and very considerate and accommodating! They always had a smile on their face and seemed to enjoy their job and were pleasant! The breakfast WAS FANTASTIC! And every room had a balcony!

The only thing I was missing was an outside sitting area! The laundry wasn’t great, and the beds didn’t have mattress protectors.

the convenience of being right across the street was great and made for an easy commute to the beach. the hotel was an adequate price for the air family and there was enough room for everyone to sleep comfortably. most of the staff was extremely kind and smiled, said good morning etc.

I felt like one of the ladies at the counter was honestly just waiting for me to shut up every time I tried to talk to her..while she was working and I requested room service, we got skipped. There were two other ladies I encountered and they were extremely kind, they were helpful, and we didn’t get missed. the whole building seems to be in need of some updates. I imagine it’s difficult to stay extremely clean and up to date with a hotel in that location and off the beach but it looks necessary. the hotel was overall pretty clean considering the beach traffic.

The breakfast was so good! There was so much variety, and everything was delicious. The staff helping with breakfast was also very friendly and patient with my 7 year old son. Also the front desk staff was also very friendly and always willing to quickly give us extra towels or anything we asked for. Robert, the front desk clerk was especially kind, helpful, and friendly. I also loved being right across the street from the ocean.

Everything, I got there early during a bad rain storm, they checked me in early, let me leave my car up front till the rain stopped. Got me checked in fast and to my room. Great staff, especially "breakfast service staff", that gentleman and lady did an awesome job. They need a bigger "Tip box" and sign.

A little mold build up around the windows activity allergies slightly, but you expect some exposure issues. Bleach water mixer cleans that just fine. Everything else was perfect. From checking in to check out. I'll be back for sure and signed up for rewards program.
