We enjoyed the breakfast every morning and had dinner at the hotel restaurant three nights in a row. The food was absolutely delicious! This charming, family-owned hotel features traditional Sardinian design, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Our room was small but comfortable and well-equipped. While there’s no elevator, the hotel only has two floors, so it wasn’t an issue for us. Overall, we loved our stay and would happily return.

The only thing we would have appreciated more of was English-speaking staff, but even with our very basic Italian and plenty of hand gestures, it turned into a truly authentic and memorable experience :)

our stay in Orosei was really nice. The hotel is clean and cosy. The bathroom was new and big. The hotel feels very small and familiär and the personal is friendly and welcoming. Even that we had three days of rain we enjoyed the big breakfast and our little covered balkony. thanks for having us and see you next time with sunny weather.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped us with the key even if we arrived late, after the check-in hours due to our fligths' delay The room was spotless. AC worked well, so we were able to feel comfortable during very hot days in Sardenia. Breakfast was ideal to start the morning with.

Parking the car after 19:00 was a game. At that time the hotel' parking lot became full, so we had to ask the staff for help If you come with a car, make sure to park it earlier.

Only minor things that could make the stay even more comfortable: Some towels would benefit being replaced, and a toilet paper holder in the bathroom would be also very convenient.

The location and the provision of parking was a great option for us. The breakfast had a great selection and the produce was of good quality. The staff were very friendly and always attentive, definitely made it a more pleasant trip. Added bonus of being able to use a hotel sun parasol for the beach which was very helpful and saved us having to get one separately.

The size of the rooms are a bit on the small end. Dated furniture and noisy rooms doors meant that the comings and goings of other hotel residents was easy to hear and notice. There is also no easy way of contacting the front desk, apart from physically going to reception or messaging the host.

location, staff very friendly and the design of the entire accommodation and the rooms. Rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. I loved the garden and probably when fully open the atmosphere is very different.

breakfast is probably better in high season, now outside of the season was okay, the best part was obviously the pastry. We also had dinner in the hotel on the first evening, again, pls consider the restaurant didn’t have the full menu open, we order tomato and cheese, plus pasta and we had wine, 50 euros was a little too much from my point.

The hotel is located right in the center of Orosei and offers free parking space. Su Barone and Osalla beaches (which we were glad we go to) are 4 km away from the hotel. The hotel's garden and terrace are wonderful places where you can relax, in a quiet atmosphere, with flowers and sounds of birds. The breakfast is rich and diverse, with fresh products. We also really liked the food prepared for dinner in the hotel restaurant (traditional Sardinian food, fish or pasta dishes). Salata di Mare - not to be missed! The hotel staff is very kind and attentive, always ready to help us with an advice or a suggestion. A very pleasant atmosphere, which we were glad to have found at Hotel S'Ortale. It was a perfect choice for staying in Orosei and we will return.

Authentic Sardinian family run hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A great range for breakfast and dinner was a special treat especially if you enjoy fish and traditional pasta dishes.

Lovely people and staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic breakfast. And restaurant was very good for dinner. Easy to park.

Mostly fine. Room lacked power points for charging phones and iPads - had to unplug fridge and lamps. Bathroom leaked water from shower over the floor and there were no hooks to hang towels or space for own toiletries.
