I liked the hotel itself - the room was large and comfortable, one window overlooked the sea, the other the nearest street. Huge bathroom with everything you need. In principle, the room is very spacious, it was comfortable and cozy. There are various restaurants and shops nearby. Convenient parking for hotel visitors. There is a descent to the pier nearby, you can walk along the sea, or you can walk to picturesque places in the forest near the sea (20 minutes walk).

It's hard to say that there was something I didn't like. Everything was great, no surprises. The only thing was that the Wi-Fi wasn't that fast on the first day, but that's not critical.

The breakfast was delicious, The hotel was very cosy and the vicinity of the spiral footbridge to the harbour is superb.

It was a general feelling that the local people are not generally warm anf friendly - they are very closed and almost completely refusing to speak English - or at least to try. And when one tries to speak German, they are not really helpful to answer slowly. We did not feel to be really welcome asi if the local people would like to keep the whole Rügen for themselves (Germans).

Perfect location, home atmosphere. Breakfast is organized in such a way that you are greeted at entrance and guided to the table, the coordinator covers the table with fresh white tablecloth and brings a kettle with coffee. You even have a perfect choice of excellent tea. Pastries are very tasty.

Room was not sound isolated (through the gap under the door came a lot of noise one night, but as our room was close to lounge, I guess it is not a problem in other parts of the hotel). So it would be good to fix sound isolation for rooms that are close to the central staircase and the lounge/breakfast room.

I liked the breakfast and the comfy stay near the Port added value. Somehow could not get an accomodation on upper floor for scenic view but still it was a great stay.Thanks Team Kurhotel

Hotel has a nice ambience, including beautiful oil paintings and ship models. Plenty of space for work and casual meetings outside your hotel room. Perfect for small relaxation while one still has some work to finish. Wifi is available in all places.

It was my second stay at this hotel, I was satisfied with everything. The room is comfortable, breakfast is good with very nice sea view. Location is very convenient.

From Rügen I travelled to Bornholm for a cycling tour and on the checkout asked to leave my suitcase for a few days. Surprisingly, the receptionist was very reluctant about my ask and pushed back. Where am I supposed to leave my luggage then? Or I have to go on a bike with a suitcase? Eventually I insisted but the receptionist did demonstrate that my query was very strange to her. Come on, it is just a small suitcase from one person. I would understand their concerns if a whole bus of tourists wished to store their luggage, but it is an uncommon request and could have been handled a bit more elegantly. Not a nice experience, I had never faced it before, though it was not the first time when I had to leave my luggage in a hotel for a few days.

Great! The room is very clean, cozy, and modern with a touch of vintage charm, like the plugs and lamp :) Breakfast is also great with a lot of varieties, you get to enjoy it in a beautiful dining room with a sea view!

Very nice place, very friendly staff, it was a pleasure to stay there.

It would be comfortable to have some separate waste collectors somewhere nearby, I was not sure where to put some waste that I had.

Excellent ambience with ship models and oil paintings everywhere, wonderful view of the Baltic sea from the breakfast room, nice and quiet places for working, central location in Sassnitz

I very much appreciated that the hotel accommodated one extra person in our room, even tho this request came very late, the staff was friendly, beds comfortable, good breakfast with big variety of food. Good location near sea & harbor and also very close to the National Park.

The interiors are little old / worn looking although everything is very clean.
