Naracoorte is renowned for its cave complex, and megafauna fossils. This motel is on the edge of Naracoorte township, about 12km from the caves, and so is a good base to visit the caves. Each unit has basic cooking facilities and an ensuite. Rooms are cleaned daily.

Beautiful location with comfortable accommodation and little touches like upmarket instant coffee and shower gels were much appreciated. The discount at the Highland Restaurant was a nice bonus and food was excellent. The cabin (container type) was pet friendly and there was no stale doggie smell so that was great.

2 extra pillows would’ve been great but I’m sure pleasant staff would’ve provided but we were just staying one night so didn’t ask.

Loved the late check in and being able to use a keypad to get into room as we arrived after 11pm. Room was nice and clean and had everything we needed.

Walls are very thin and there were people out the front talking from 6am so was impossible to stay asleep. There was lots of things that creaked in the room - floorboards, bathroom door and especially the bunk bed! It seemed like it would creak loudly from the kids just breathing and moving slightly.

It met our expectations for the cost of accommodation

My wife has a disability and found the step at the entrance to the accommodation hard to pull herself up need a grab rail so the elderly can access the room. No fan in the shower/toilet area. Ignorant people making noise late at midnight to early morning. Bed to soft Roller shutter on external window came off it rollers Thursday morning and wouldn't work for the rest of our stay.

It was perfect for what we needed it for. Easy to book while we were driving towards Naracoorte and wanted to rest in the middle of a long trip.Just a quick one night stay for us to keep warm and be comfortable on our way home from a family holiday. We made the most of it by visiting the caves and fossil centre before we left town.

Comfortable bed, reasonably clean. Easy check in, good location. Bbq to use if you wished. Kitchen facilities in room.

Very loud ear piercing noise from neighbouring shower when used. Power point in bathroom didn't work, kitchen area one was loose.

The shutters were excellent to cut out the light. Dining table was added bonus, with enough facilities to make a light meal.

It felt like you were on your own. All automated reception wasn't bad just new for us. We were not aware how far from town it was. We were also unaware there were roof repairs or renovations being done. The bed was way too soft no real support and plastic mattress protector sucked. Unaware if the kitchen could be used by those staying or long term 'workers'. Very basic but clean and good enough for a night.

Clean and modern. Facilities cleaned daily, towels replaced and bins emptied.

No soap for hand washing. No tissue box. TV was not working.

Inconsiderate other patrons, one who reversed parked to doorways. Idling his diesel engine in the morning, disturbing other guests.
