The location of this hotel is stunning. A short taxi ride away from town. From the hotel pool you can see a temple set amongst the jungle. The main pool area is fabulous and the breakfast was varied and yum.

One of the rooms in our villa wasn't fit for purpose. It wasn't well appointed and considerably less comfortable than the other two rooms. The hotel manage took on this feedback and two of our guests were moved to another villa for the duration of our stay.

The location is just perfect for nature lovers, very serene and quiet. The staff and service is good (can be better). The cart service is always available to assist. The rooftop swimming pool views. Overall, we enjoyed our stay because of location, views and peaceful surroundings

The breakfast was a little lacking for Muslim or non far asian residents, and the hotel promised to improve. The bed was harder than expected (housekeeping tried to improve it, but maybe mattresses need a re visit). Room service food standard is below par,although food at the hotel restaurant was way better. Had to order from Grab for the kids the next day.

Great hotel, great staffs very helpful, delicious food and stunning infinity pool with a beautiful sunset view. Location is good and very calm with beautiful mountains around. Good for relaxing but not for visiting around the city. Quite remote location. Insects and lizards are expected given that the hotel is located close to a Jungle (+ Tropical Country) PS: Don't go if you are scared of spiders :)

Need to walk quite a bit from the private villas to the front desk/restaurants or take a buggy during night times

Breathtaking views and location. At first glance and for your entire trip it’s a very beautiful and peaceful hotel. The staff are very kind. Hotel has a lot of pools, activities and the food was good. Free shuttle service

Lacks attention to detail, facilities are damaged, walls in the rooms are moldy and for example the flush of the toilet was broken too. For a five star it should be more careful on these details. Consider you will be 30 mins away from the city.

Super serene location in the quieter part up the mountain of Hangdong. The air is fresh and it's peaceful and scenic. Staff are great. Very attentive, you really feel like a vip guest. At first glance you may feel the place looks slightly dated, which it may be, but it is generally well maintained. For two nights even in our plunge pool pavilion terrace, we had zero mosquitoe bites etc, with the exception of a scratching sound in the ceiling of our room but upon feedback, the staff managed to eradicate it. Highly recommend the in House massage and spa, the masseus is really good and the bed in the room is great, we got a really good rest on both nights The highlight of this place is its amazing view, from the pool, from your room. It was absolutely beautiful. The hotel is actually nicely filled! There were quite a few guests during our stay, but not too many to the point where you could thoroughly enjoy using the facilities

The place is just slightly dated, but it's extremely well maintained for its agedness so we found it acceptable. Half board food is acceptable- as a four course meal, but I didn't like the food options

We had a stunning view from our suite across the rice paddies and trees. Full board evening meal was fine. Pool area was lovely with great views of the temple. The Spa was lovely but relatively expensive.

Quite remote and a long walk to anything around but hotel will get taxis. Would suggest full board.

We liked the superlarge room with its own plunge pool overlooking nice green oasis. Breakfast room is on the 4th floor overlooking the pool and has a beautiful view towards Wat Ban Pong

The hotel needs a bit of a facelift. A coat of varnish on wooden paneling, floors and breakfast room furniture. Guestbook in room is "slightly used" and could be replaced with fresh pages, that may need to be put in plastic sheets to last longer. Room has some steps that are fairly dangerous if you are not paying attention where you walk. Maybe mark the edges with a different color to warn guests there is a step... Half board dining room menu is a bit boring after a few days.

* Pool, the breakfast restaurant and views from the pool are the hotels forte. * Huge set up on vast hotel grounds, then again the rooms are all in a really large concrete appartment building but somehow it works with all the greenery. But activity centres around the pool, outside that there is not much soul to the place.

* Apple maps indicates this hotel completely in the wrong location; be aware and use googlemaps! * Left my earpods next to the coffee machine but...surprise.. 'nobody found them' * The main restaurant is somewhat overpriced and somehow it shows as there was no vibrant atmosphere when we were there. Quality and service is good but its lacking the character.

Everything is jusr perfect. a quiet hotel, in the green area of Chian Mai. The design is beyond words. the room is wide and beautiful, the tea green fields between the buildings is perfectly connecting to the Thai culture. the restaurants are top quality. i was there for the second time, and can't wait for the third.

It was a lovely resort. From the moment we stepped foot till we checked out, we felt very pampered by the service given. Buggy was available to send us to our room which was huge and faced the lovely green terrace. We had lunch on our first day which was delicious (a bit pricier than outside but portions were large). Buffet breakfast was such a spread and so filling that we nearly didn’t need to eat lunch. The pool view was splendid, facing the White Temple. and a wonderful way to spend the day. Surroundings were quiet but that was what we needed. One could easily request for Grab to go to the many nearby cafes around. There were also a few local eateries/road side stalls that are clean and good for meals.

Only one slight complaint would be the slight sewage smell when we first checked in. There was some clearing/pumping done during our stay which helped. We also requested for a essence oil burner that helped very much.
