Very cool atmosphere. Loved the nature all around the resort. The breakfast was good, big restaurant as well. The pools are very nice!! Very picturesque place! Everyone was very friendly and the food was good. The room was big and comfortable. The bed was large and comfortable, which is the most important.

It would have been nice to be able to move the tv so we could view it from our bed instead of just the couch. And to have Netflix as an option. Also, our room seemed a little outdated. They had to fix our shower while we were there, but did ask if we wanted another room. It was a fast fix so we didn’t mind. All minors things that didn’t impact our stay.

What a beautiful resort set in a rainforest. It is so relaxing to be surrounded by nature. At night the sounds of the frogs etc is amazing. The pool is very cold but amazing still. The staff were all very polite, friendly and very helpful. The location is far out of the city, but there are several shuttles each day, which we made use of. They also took us to restaurants nearby (Khaomao-Khaofang which is like a rainforest and also the carp cafe, both of which I can also recommend). We stayed in two different rooms, the damily room and pool access room, which were both super roomy and lovely. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Breakfast was okay, but I feel some of the food could be covered more effectively from the flies.

I loved the calm atmosphere. The garden really gave me a little zen feeling. Really something! Purely practical: lots of room for parking, when you have a car.

The only nitpicking thing I would say is that the TV was missing any smart things (no Netflix, YouTube, etc.) you're obviously not there to watch tv. However we have 2025 and it would be something I would expect from a good resort.

The garden is spectacular, just like shown in the photos. It is quite far from chiang mai, but I am happy i chose this location far away from the agitation and crowd. We had our car rented, as it would have been extremely difficult otherwise. The room was very spacious, nicely decorated and relatively clean. There were some spider webs here and there close to the windows, the doors to the terrace could not be closed (so the room was quite noisy), but all in all, it was a good value for the money we paid

The food at breakfast was… impossible to eat. A large variety of food, most of which not comestible. I would call it a blasphemy to the heaven of food which is Thailand. It was difficult to understand why they would serve such products at breakfast, of extremely poor quality. For example the coffee: chiang mai is the capital of coffee roasters in the south east of asia and they would serve at breakfast cheap filter coffee. We asked for a cappuccino and a thai tea and, besides the fact that they were charged extra, my husband had a toxi-infection from the cappuccino. I would suggest the hotel to eliminate the breakfast services, because it is an offense to the Thai culture of food.

The staff was incredible helpful and professional. We had to switch to another room because our aircon was making too much noise and the staff managed to move in the middle of the night to another room. We stayed for only one night. The public area with trees and pools is very nice and enjoyable.

The place is located outside of Chiang Mai city center and you need a car to get somewhere. When taking a closer look, the interior of the room is planned/built rather poorly - you can be lucky because every room is different, but you can have bad luck too. Examples: TV located around the corner of the bed and sideways to the sofa. Power plugs far in a hidden corner below the TV. A clock on the wall which doesn’t work. Bad air circulation in the bathroom because there is only a very small window. Small gaps in the floor. A loud aircon, … However, this doesn’t apply for every room.

The resort having amazing facilities. They have instagrammable spots in every corner. What I like the most are their staffs taking care of their guest. We missed out the breakfast scheduled between 7-10am but they have arranged to send us directly at our room around 11am. They have 24 hours reception service. Their staff Ms. Noon was very helpful giving us information in every queries we asked. The Retreat name on the property really suits the service they provide. SUPERB!

The bed is a little hard. But the rest of their facility is exceptional!

Facilities were impeccable. The room was spacious with a great view. The resort had lots of little places to sit and relax. Staff were kind, polite, welcoming, and very attentive. The food was excellent. Family friendly.

It was a little bit out of the way. Some transport did not want to travel there.

love the jungle like feeling, loved having the pool 3 step from my porch. the grab drivers really did not want to drive to it had a few cancel my rides do to its outside of the city hotel gives 300thb lift to airport. breakfast was good. really liked this hotel. it was like a vacation in a vacation.

The environment of the hotel is exactly like the photos on this site. We dined at the hotel restaurant which has reasonable price and good quality food. The hotel staff is particularly friendly and helpful, and attended to our every need. I would recommend staying here to anyone looking for a quiet place in Hang Dong while traveling in Chiang Mai.

Room was large and bed comfortable. Lovely view of the pool. The grounds are really beautiful but small. Afternoon shuttle buses to the city and the Airport mall.

The location is a bit far out so best to stay here for a restful day or two rather than use it as a base to Chiang Mai but you could if you are ok with taxis every day. Pool view lovely but privacy then somewhat limited. Also a huge urinal just there on the wall in the bathroom which I covered with a towel. Maybe great for the boys but it seemed like a public toilet :D
