The breakfast was perfect. Other reviews complained of only two options but that’s all you need here. The breakfast was delicious and the fruit was always fresh. We didn’t eat dinner here because we were always out in Chiang Mai but the menu looked good.

The location is about 20-30 minutes from Old City and their shuttle will only get you to the Airport Center Mall which is fine because it’s free. However the shuttle only runs twice a day. Just plan on using Grab if you stay here.

Great staff! Very friendly and always helpful! Really nice rooms and great facility incl. pool. Quiet in at night as it's outside the city.

Breakfast could be better in terms of variation and the furnishing is a little rundown. Needs a little paint and cleaning (couch). A little far away from Chiang Mai Center. You need at least 20-45 minutes by Grab/Bolt. Keep this in mind when booking trips. Chances are you can't be picked up at this location and need to start your trips at the meeting point in Chiang Mai. So you need to get up early and hope to get a Grab/Bolt.

Very relaxing vibes, makes you feel as if you were really having a vacation. There were books at the lobby which were very appreciated by my toddler and a very nice pool. When the staff prepared our welcome drinks, we were very pleasantly surprised when she served us ice cream, fries and nuggets as well!

Beautiful pool area. Room was spacious and comfortable and had a nice balcony. Very friendly staff especially Fix! The food was also very nice. There is a gym with AC and a few weights to do a decent workout.

I'm not sure if this was a fault of the hotel or not, but we did not appreciate the police arriving and asking us for ID and taking photos of us. It made us feel really uncomfortable. The hotel management should ensure that the guests feel comfortable. This this was an odd situation.

the people that worked here made it, they were so so kind, the one woman at hte front desk told me a million places to go, she was always so nice, so welcoming and so kind. i really appreciated it. The entire staff were so kind and welcoming

i am western so i am used to room service and bar service but in a way it was fine, i just hung out there was no bar nor room service so it saved me money ...( lol )

Everyone at the Lanna Art Deer Resort was lovely and very willing to help. The amenities were beautiful and the mango smoothies were my favorite treat.

The location was a little far from the center of Chiang Mai which presented issues in getting a Grab taxi.

The whole place was amazing. The staff were exceptional and went above and beyond for our needs and helped organise tours and transport for us and also gave us advice on which markets were best. The pool was clean and our rooms were spacious and clean. I highly recommend this accomodation to anyone.

Nothing I didn’t like.

The pool is lovely, nice and clean, plenty of space. Staff is really friendly, too. When we went there it wasn't very busy so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Good value for the money.

The restaurant where they serve breakfast isn't that great. There's only one kind of breakfast to choose from, and they ran out of bread and condiments. Also, don't expect any deer at the Deer Resort. The deer they had were given to the zoo when Covid hit.

I've stayed for 2 nights with husband, mother and one cat. The room is quite big for 3 ppl and a cat . The terrace is just connect to the garden and then swimming pool. We had a great time while staying at The Deer resort. Even the restaurant have so less menu and close at 5 pm but that was not a problem for us at all because the hotel allow to order food from outside (we use food delivery such as panda, grab and lineman) so variety of food are available :) however, if you not familiar with food delivery this might be difficult. The room is clean and big. Friendly and very helpful staff. But your own transportation is needed. Lastly, this is a pet friendly hotel. I love it!!

more coffee options would be appreciated! latte, cappucino, espresso, etc.
