Gorgeous, wonderful, stunning, friendly. This is the 12th place I’ve visited South East Asia. It is the very, very best of places. The attention to detail, the artistic touches, the comfort, ambience, beauty and luxury overwhelmed me on day one all the way to day ten. I only booked for seven days but found I couldn’t leave! If you are lucky enough to get a room here (only a few available), then really consider it. Experiencing the jungle, the Lombok straights, the vast panorama, the volcanos on the horizon, the birds swishing by your vista, the fabulous refreshing pool, the comfortable soft furnishings, the …massive windows with interrupted views and the hospitality (second to none) is sublime. I kept asking myself if I could really afford this indulgence and thankfully it was so affordable, I really could. I was spoilt and so happy.

I'm not usually one to review, but Villa Umbrella was such a wonderful place to rest and recharge that I feel almost compelled to! Zima (Z) and her team were absolutely fantastic. I felt welcomed and cared for from the minute I arrived. They were so friendly and kind to me, and the place was so beautiful that I immediately extended my stay. They are all what made the place so special. The pool side room was massive, and an absolute dream. I could see the sunset from bed if I wanted. The little lounge area was such a bonus. The pool was wonderfully clean (I saw them scrubbing the tiles several times during my stay to keep it that way), and the view over the water to the mountain was surreal. I witnessed two of the most beautiful sunsets that I have ever seen there. Breakfast was fantastic (smoothie bowls, fruit, coffee/tea and a juice!!).

The poolside suite was perfect for us, comfortable bed and a couch to relax and watch TV at night. There's also a small bar fridge and a large water dispenser in the room. Obviously the view is incredible, so it's perfect to chill in/around the pool. Breakfast was good and the staff are all lovely. Great value for money.

The wifi could be a bit hit and miss sometimes but really only in the restaurant area. Otherwise everything was great.

We stayed in two different rooms and both were spotless and huge. Staff are very friendly and helpful and breakfasts were the best we had during our trip (highly recommend the smoothie bowl). Views are to die for, specially at sunset were you can see mount Agung in the distance. This was one of our favourite stays in Indonesia. Special thanks to Torik who was fenomenal on our last day there.

We knew the property was on a hill but some travellers might find this inconvenient. It wasn’t for us though and renting a scooter makes it a lot easier to move around. Food was delicious but unfortunately not available at all times so we had to order from Grab on a few occasions.

One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had! The staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating! There was a slight problem with room and they were willing to upgrade my room at no extra charge. They had breakfast ready for me before they opened on days I needed to leave early. They offered very fast landary service and a low cost. And the views where amazing! An amazing stay for sure!

Words cannot capture how amazing my stay at Villa Umbrella was. Yoni and Z made it extremely memorable, they were always available to assist with a genuine smile. Felt very homely and welcoming compared to other establishments, I’ve been to. All the staff in general, really made the difference, from the young gentleman to kitchen staff. Blaise too was a top bloke. Cannot rave enough about the people and this place. The view is spectacular, room is extremely spacious. Clean, fragrant, elegant and traditional decor with AC & wifi. Can’t complain with a 5 star service. Well done guys, the reviews before mine were spot on :)

The staff is very nice and helpful. The room was very spacious and the view is amazing. The breakfast is very nice and the villa includes a restaurant which serves very nice food in the evening.

The amazing view also means the location is not very central. With a taxi it takes about 10 minutes to drive up the hill, but you will be rewarded in the views.

This is more a home stay than a hotel. We stayed in a large and beautifully designed Bali / Lombok style. What sets this place apart from anywhere else I have stayed, is the view. I have never seen anything like it. Absolutely stunning.. it is worth coming here just for that (and the gorgeous pool). Staff also lovely.

This is tje most beautifull place we stay in Indonesia..amazing view and sunsets from the infinity pool ..5 star stuff..big rooms with own patio..all looking to the ocen ..food was delicios..cold beer too .dont miss spring rolls and pancakes...brekfast is full ..machine koffe.fresh fruits should stay forever

NOTHING Please..dont complain about location..if youwant to enjoy this place and the view ..you need 5 min. drive from the beach up to hill on beautifull green luxury road .even we enjoy on the scooters to go trough

Wonderful stay at Villa Umbrella. Beautiful room, fabulous views, lovely swimming pool. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast included in room tariff.. Other meals were fine. It does help to have your own motor transport as the elevated site means that visiting away from the resort is not feasible on foot.
