Cutest room and amenities, and fantastic breakfast in the garden! Relaxing pool. Kind staff willing to book wine tours and give dinner recommendations.

Some road noise from the location grounds, so didn't feel as removed in the countryside as I had hoped. Didn't realize the free wine tasting provided by this location was closed on the only day we were here - Monday. Instead, we had to pay a hefty price of 40 Euro each for a wine tasting that consisted of 4 small sips of wine. This may have been our only option on the date/ time we arrived, but when I mentioned to the staff the highly recommended place nearby, they instead steered us to this disappointingly overpriced tasting with a different winery.

Everything about this hotel was perfect! The rooms are beautiful and whilst in an old 'rustic' building are spotlessly clean. The bathroom also was modern and spotlessly clean. The staff are delightful on checking in, serving drinks from the bar, at breakfast and in housekeeping. Breakfast offers a large variety of food and is endless! You can eat inside in a lovely dining room or outside in the garden. The gardens and pool area are beautifully maintained and very quiet - one afternoon we had the whole garden and pool area to ourselves. Lots of parking and it is easy to walk into and back from Castellina with all its shops and restaurants and a great pizzeria is found almost next door. Also recommend you try dinner at the sister hotel which has a fabulous restaurant with stunning views and sunsets. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

The staff were all outstanding. The location and ambience were perfect. Breakfast value for money. The buildings and the grounds were well kept and very clean and tidy. Bed super comfy and bathroom so spacious with a fabulous showers.

These are not complaints, only suggestions! The room was a little bit cluttered with large pieces of furniture, maybe could be reduced. Only one small window made it quite gloomy so possibly improve the lighting. A full length mirror and a shelf in the shower would be useful.

The hotel is wonderful. This is a Tuscan classic. Beautiful stone building. The room we received was very large, located on the first floor. The bed was very comfortable, very large. We found great olive oil cosmetics in the bathroom. Breakfast was served in the garden, there was a very large selection of products, croissants, eggs, hams, cheeses, jams and fruit and vegetables. Everything is complemented by a wonderful swimming pool and service that deserves 11/10 points. always smiling, helpful and knows English.

The hotel is very pretty, with rustic rooms set in lovely gardens. The staff are amazing - nothing is too much trouble for them - they will help with all your needs. Breakfast is very good, continental style, with fresh baked pastries, savoury and sweet. The pool was a welcome place to cool down after a day sightseeing.

The property is on the outskirts of the town and traffic noise can disturb you in the garden.

We liked or loved everything about our stay. A charming, well-managed, clean and comfortable place with lovely grounds and pool. Warm and friendly staff. Good European breakfast. Must have a car to visit surrounding countryside, towns and villages. You can walk to the center of Castellina where plenty of restaurants, shops, the church, the medieval tower for great views and Etruscan museum are located but there's no sidewalk for much of the way. No problem walking on side of road in daylight, but we drove it after dark. In summary, we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Loved this hotel..warm welcome, great choice of rooms..all different but all lovely The owners also produce wine and arranged a wine tasting for our small group at their shop in the town Wine was then delivered to the hotel short walk down the hill to the small town where there is a good choice of restaurants and reception kindly booked for us great choice of breakfast Lovely little town..highly recommended

The hotel is surrounded by Tuscan lovely landscapes, so it is a perfect place for those looking for a quiet and peaceful holiday. The rooms are spacious and confortable, with ancient decoration that reminds you that you are in the middle of the Tuscany. Staff was friendly and gave enough detailed information. In 5 min by car you can reach the Castellina in Chianti center with good restaurants and some boutiques.

The hotel has an impressive outside area with lovely views. The pool looked nice, but it was unfortunately too chilly to swim during our stay. The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful; Irene went out of her way to chill a bottle of wine for us, and Sonia made reservations for us for the complementary wine tasting as well as fir dinner at a great restaurant in town.

Location is perfect! A peaceful setting with beautiful surroundings of the vineyards. Walking distance from the town with fantastic bakery’s/bars and restaurants. Rooms are neat and clean, bathrooms is small, but the attention to detail makes it unique. Lovely gardens to sit outside.

Rooms are small and showers cramped. I would prefer glasses in the rooms instead of plastic cup’s. Hairdryer can be upgraded to one with more watts 😁
