The staff are all amazing, with special praise and thanks to Carlos on Reception for his very kind attention and Vincenze in the dining room who made the meal very special. The location was just right for us as it is just by the beach, which is marvellous as it's nice and sandy. It is a bit of a walk into town from hotel, but it's along a very lovely Promenade, and the walk is worth it. Breakfast is wonderful, we highly recommend it. A wide choice and as much as you can eat. We also had dinner there and again, a very high standard. It was our second visit, we we'll definitely be back.

The siting of the hotel only about 100 metres from the sea. The room was large and airy. The view to the sea would be lovely if the weather had been a touch better. The hotel has a very modern foyer but the inside stairs and hallways have an older charm, very Spanish feel. Overall a great stay for just a night or for longer. Breakfast is good with plentiful choice at the buffet.We will be back.

The evening meal in the cafe/bar didn't come up to expectations. The food, apart from the burger wasn't plentiful. The burger was very undercooked, verging on raw in the middle. Think we would skip the evening meal there next time.

The hotel is located just off the sea front, the local area is very clean and well looked after. the staff at the hotel make you feel very welcome, it is a 30 minute bus ride from Bilbao, I discovered this beautiful resort by pure accident as Bilbao was fully booked because of the Europa final. I travel to Bilbao four times a year, I have now found my ideal hotel for all my future visits.

We loved the location near the promenade with easy walking into the lovely little town. The hotel was clean and bright and our room and bathroom was spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable and it offered us a lovely view over the bay. For an additional 9 euros we had secure parking in the adjacent garage. We went for a walk on arrival and due to the generous 12 noon check out we were able to explore the beautiful little harbour again in the morning. Such interesting architecture! The continental buffet breakfast was plentiful. We would Definately recommend for a night before a Bilbao or Santander ferry departure and do take time to explore the harbour area.

Fabulous large room, with lovely sea views. Very quiet, mega comfy pillows and bed. Superb leg exercise chair, perfect after a long day of walking. Carlos on reception gets a special mention for being so friendly and helpful.

Nothing, just a suggestion there are no tourist leaflets on local places to visit. May have been removed for covid and not returned.

Excellent hotel close to the beach. We were met by a very helpful member of staff who took us to the garage to see if our car would be able to be housed which it was BMW X5 The room was large, on the corner of the building with double windows giving you views out to sea Very comfortable bed and pillows. Good sized bathroom with a bath. Breakfast was very good with hot food cooked to order I chose this hotel due to the secure car parking and distance to the ferry port in Bilbao, which was approximately 25 mins away. I would highly recommend the hotel and will definitely stay there again and visit more of the coastline in that region.

Loved the property, the facilities and the location . Reception staff were excellent as was the young lady in cafeteria .

The food in the restaurant was not good . Neither was the service . Waited and had to remind waiter about drink we ordered . I ordered salmon , it arrived cold and very undercooked . Unable to eat it . Sent it back and the it came back reheated . I was physically sick most of the night .

Clean, modern, well appointed hotel; spacious, comfortable rooms with good bed and nice shower; courteous, professional staff; quiet location but with very close access location to nearby beach.

It’s quite a long walk to the popular old town section of Castro Urdiales where almost all the shops and bars and restaurants are located.

I loved the location and views from our hotel room window. Parking was so convenient outside the hotel. Easy walking distance from the main part of the town.

Beautiful 4 star hotel. Very close to the beach and promenade. Lots of small bars close by. Staff in the hotel, very friendly and very professional. Beautiful large room and comfortable bed and a very nice shower and bathroom. Lovely breakfast with everything that you could want. Will definitely return here.
