We booked last minute on a whim and did not expect much. This place surprised us. The room was excellent, double bed very comfy. Breakfast was the most elaborate and tasty we had in Morocco, especially considering the fair price of the stay. But the best of all is the little garden and pool area which is very relaxing, sunny and cosy. We could not spend much time there unfortunately as we only arrived late and had to leave the next morning, but I think this is a great place to unwind for a few days. And the Ouzoud waterfalls are beautiful! Aya represents great value for money and the owner is helpful and friendly. Recommended!

The bathroom could do with a slight upgrade. The toilet and shower are basic, although the water pressure in the shower is good and warm water abundant. Other than that, perfect!

I Love the space and decor ! True Morroco magazine style ! Just Stay there ! The room was great ! Best view shower 🚿 ever ! Parking on the spot ! Easy , they were book for the 2 nights I want it to stay but cause the reviews I decide to stay one night there , also I like the idea to be on top of the water falls! We arrive walk 2 minutes and watch an amazing sun set with the Waterfalls !!!! Dinner was great ! Breakfast delicious! In the morning we decide to hike down to the water falls and canyons !one of the most beautiful hikes ever ! The place is impeccable!!! I love the idea staying up there ! The town is nice but is a lot construction going on ! So your best bet is staying up here !!!! Trust me ! You will love it 🥰 the People is amazing they let our car to stay there almost all day we were hiking 🙏🏻⛰️❤️🫶

Everything was perfect 🤩

We first booked a room for 2 nights and ended up staying for a whole week! Our experience has been exceptional, the accommodation is impeccable and tastefully decorated, the food delicious, the view absolutely stunning and the hosts, Said Myriam and their three daughters have offered us a very warm welcome and flawless service. The best asset of Dar Aya is its location, within walking distance from the falls and yet in a quiet part of Ouzoud from which you can easily access some beautiful hikes : to the berber village, the caves, the source and great spots of the river to go for a swim :) Just a few minutes away from Dar Aya you will be able to enjoy the most spectacular view of the falls and surrounding mountains, and all that without any tourists ! We will definitely come back ! (if you are interested in geology and dinosaurs we also highly recommend visiting the Azilal museum)

Beautiful building, big room, super friendly and helpful staff. Ignore Google Maps, it hasn't got a clue - the location is brilliant! There's a cut through to the main part of the village with the restaurants and path to the falls that takes all of 5 minutes. Meaning you get all of the benefits of being a bit further away from the center while still being able to get around easily.

Some of the features are a little dated - window shutters, the shower etc - but all perfectly serviceable.

The family that runs it is very hospitable and sweet. They took care of us and made sure we were taken care of. The rooms were big and well appointed. The "tent" on top of the bed and the lanterns were specially a nice touch. One of the most quiet rooms we have had in Morocco. Private parking, and great and genouous breakfast. 10 minute walk from the falls and greatly located on a cliff with nice views. Great shower.

The mattress could be improved and they need to make sure the pillows from the smoking rooms and the pillows from the non-smoking rooms don't get mixed up.

We received an incredibly warm welcome, which made us feel right at home. The host is exceptional. The entire house and the garden were furnished with a lot of love. The pool was clean and very inviting. The perfect place to cool off after a hike to the waterfalls. We definitely recommend the dinner, it was really delicious. And you should be at the waterfalls around 8:30. We were the only tourists there.

I had a great stay at this hotel! It has a beautiful Moroccan style. The rooms are charming and very clean, making our stay even more comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming—they even accommodated us late at night after we had car troubles. Close to Ouzoud waterfall. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

Really good place, staff really friendly and kind, always at your disposal. The room has all the facilities you need, full bathroom with separated shower from the wc (what is sometimes difficult to see in Morocco) and hot water. Very beautifully decorated both the room and the common areas. We were in winter there and didn't have too much cold. For sleeping it wasn't cold at all since they gave us enough blankets. The breakfast was abundant and delicious, really good dinner too. Conveniently located, just 3 minutes walking to the beginning of the route down to the waterfalls. Free parking and easy access, very well indicated (Dar Aya) from the moment you arrive to Ouzoud.

I would just say that the bed was a bit hard, but that is an usual thing in Morocco, this wasn't the hardest we found during our trip. Also we didn't have cold while sleeping but the room wasn't completely warm since the heater we had was small and the weather outside was pretty cold.

Amazing, perfectly clean panoramatic pool! Almost incredibly clean every spot of the building. All beautifuly decorated, apartments larger than we thought from the píctures. Well working shower and air-conditioning. Hospitable staff.

Although Ouzoud is very far from most Moroccan beaten tracks ot is definitely worth visiting. The waterfalls clearly list among the most admireable in the world.

This is such a beautiful location and amazing stay!. The owner and his wife are absolutely lovely. After 2 weeks of tajines we asked them to prepare something a bit different for us. They did a huge salad, lentils, roasted herby chicken and rice.. went down a real treat Breakfast was also generous and delicious.. literally minutes away from the ouzoud waterfall.. the area is very charming with stunning vistas and a very pretty town..the waterfalls are completely free, please do not let the guys trick you into thinking you need them to guide you. Its very straightforward..the beds were comfy, rooms generously portioned and water pressure great..

Everything was fantastic.. wish we had more time here..
