The breakfast was good. It was maintained constantly by the staff so everything was hot and yummy

There needs to be a fan in the bathroom. My wife was trying to get ready to head out and she was sweating. Plus the bathroom door always closes. We had to prop it open with two trash cans. Not ideal at all.

A spacious room, very clean, everything you can wish for a 1-night stay on a road trip. Friendly and helpful receptionist. The room has a microwave and fridge. Walmart and other big stores are 10 mins away driving. Our windows looked at the backyard so we haven't heard the highway much. Definitely would come again - I regretted not booking this chain in other towns we visited.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The A/C was too loud, sounds like and old unit. Not only ours but we could also hear the neighbors units. There is train track nearby and you can hear the trains passing. The housekeeping lady starting knocking at all doors at 9am; they should know who is checking out to wait until they are gone, instead of knocking every single door.

Nice clean modern room with a comfortable bed. Haven't tried the breakfast yet.

Getting on to the WIFI was a challenge...and after dutifully filling out the form to allow me to use it, it finally said log in failed (but gave me the WIFI anyway). We spent 10 minutes on each of our tablets and laptops to get on the internet.

Breakfast was awesome and I loved the variety of waffle flavors. Staff was wonderful and very accommodating. My first experience when I checked in was with Pam who made my stay very easy and was incredibly helpful.

The art and color scheme was very pleasing to the eye and everything was clean and the scent was great. The way environments smell is important for giving a feeling of well being.

Since we eat in when we travel we like a small dining table and have noticed that Hampton Inn does not provide this.

We were just driving through after a very long day and needed easy. We needed it to be as advertised and it was. All the staff was nice, our room was clean, well stocked, bed was very comfortable, the heat/air con worked perfectly and wasn’t too loud. Everything was in perfect working order. Their breakfast opens at 6:00 am and we really appreciated the early time. There was a good variety of nice food. Cereals, oatmeal, waffles, muffins, bagels, fruit, eggs, sausage potatoes and more. Two coffee choices and decaf with different creamer choices. Parking lot and surrounding area felt safe.

Hampton Inn & Suites Modesto was such a nice stay. We were created by nice and polite staff. They welcomed my fur baby with no problem!! Our room was way bigger than I thought and was clean and comfortable. Definitely will be staying here again

The hotel suited our purposes for a 1-night stay.

The only thing that could possibly be improved would be additional lighting in the parking lot. We had no issues however it always makes us more secure if the parking lot is super well lit.

Clean! The hotel is very clean and Pem at the front desk made our trip!!! She is the best!

The walls and doors are thin, you hear everything from the rooms and hallways. The hotel is close to the train station so you do hear the train horn at night.
