The pool helps a lot especially after a long Sierra Negra volcano tour. Our room was big enough, with closets, AC and WiFi. Breakfast was average.

Our rooms were on the top floor, exhausting to go up every time (font forget anything in your room before going out). The first morning we had to leave early on a tour and despite we were told breakfast would be ready from 6-9am. It was 06h30am and the cook lady hadn't arrived yet and we left with just a cup of coffee and a piece of bread; no eggs, juice at all.

We liked everything about this hotel. If we had to pick one exceptional thing over all of the others it would be the helpfulness of the staff. They helped us get the best highland excursion with Pablo. Pablo speaks excellent English and of course Spanish with which he explains all of the fauna and flora along the way to and in the volcano. He also offers his customers complimentary fruit at his farm and lunch at his restaurant.

The only minor thing that we would suggest is to add an ice machine. The hotel has a very small shared refrigerator with a tiny freezer and a couple of ice trays. But we were able to make that work for us.

I loved everything. At first, Giancarlo helped me organize ferry tickets and tours in Isabela (and had the best prices I've received), and all went smoothly. The hotel isn't luxurious, but my room was very comfortable and the view to the flamingos lagoon was a plus. Although breakfast starts at 7h, I could arrive around 6h30 as I had a tour at 7am and was served on time. As in all hotels I've been in the GALAPAGOS, breakfast is served on the table and is not a lot of food. They serve eggs (your style), some fruit, yogurt, bread, coffee and juice. It was not much, but it was enough (and good).

Great view from our balcony of the flamingos on the lagoon. Worth booking this room. We were collected from the port and transport was arranged for us to the airport on departure.

This is a fantastic hotel overlooking the flamingo lagoon in Isabela. 1 minute walk to the beach. Right beside plenty of restaurants and bars. Has rooftop jacuzzi which you reserve a time slot for free. Lovely way to watch the sunset. Rooms also very modern and comfy, some with balconies overlooking the lagoon. But the staff here especially are excellent. So attentive and going above and beyond to make your stay easy and enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for anyone on Isabela

Bright beautiful spacious room - very big bed, nice sofa for relaxing, and a balcony with 2 chairs. Pool downstairs and hot tub on the roof. Great location - 2 mins to the beach and centre of the town. Hot showers at any time. Helpful staff - picked us from the airport, arranged a couple of tours for us in advance over whatsapp, and arranged a taxi to the ferry dock when we were leaving (and also stored our bags for 5 hours after checkout). Breakfast was decent - eggs offered and fruit, yoghurt, bread, coffee, juice all available.

The light on the air conditioner unit wouldn't go off, so the room was quite bright at night. The bathroom sink tap was a push button, but it wouldn't stay on which was frustrating.

A very decent hotel. Big rooms, good water pressure in the shower, although hot water takes 10 minutes to appear. Location is next to everything you need - restaurants, bike rentals, mini markets. Staff was always nice and helpful.

Breakfast. Made by a guy who hates his job and food. Every single item is of poor quality, tasteless. Coffee pretty horrible too. Just avoid it and go to a decent breakfast place nearby.

The location overlooking the flamingos. The attentive manager who always responded to requests with a smike😁. The modern, clean rooms. The sparkling pool to refresh in after exploring Isabela.And.. the best rooftop spa!

There waa an unfortunate breakfast mishap involving a cockroach. This was rectified immediately but we think the kitchen assistant perhaps needs to be a bit more vigilant. Not the chef-he was excellent.

Everything (except 1 thing) was perfect, rooftop jacuzzi is amazing with great view. Room was nice and clean. Staff was friendly. Free water refill is provided. Location is good as well.

Very sad to say the breakfast and restaurant in general was not good… cutlery and cups were often dirty, breakfast quality was also not the best, and the same everyday. If this would be improved this hotel would be truly amazing.

We had a great stay at La Laguna. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we suggest you book all daily tours with them, much easier and even cheaper. Rooms are big, bed comfortable, shower has a good pressure and hot water. The best part was to book the Jacuzzi on the rooftop after a long day. I would def recommend it

I would add a small clothes rack on the balcony
