What a deal! You can barely get anywhere nowadays without overpaying for everything, but this place had everything we want at a VERY reasonable price! We could make food and enjoy and airconditioned room with a sofa and big screen TV cheaper than most unlivable rooms elsewhere. The reception desk clerk was SUPER nice and forgave easily our lack of organization and locking ourselves out of our room!

The room was very humid and somewhat smelled of dampness. The windows gave into a veranda where other guests walked by and therefore had to keep the curtains closed at all times. We could hear the neighbors upstairs very well and our room wasn't very well sound-proofed.

Motel-style property with large, shared balconies offering up a stunning view of the city in addition to beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The rooms, including bathrooms, are clean, though clearly a little aged. The extremely convenient kitchen is fully stocked (see pictures). The airconditioning/heating and TV are a little tricky to manage but fairly easy to figure out - operate the airconditioning/heating directly from the unit, as the wall controls do not work; and turn on the cable modem from the TV remote by pressing a palpable but invisible button to the right of the on/off power button. Also, the windows all open, both in the kitchen and in the main room (bathroom is windowless, with a vent), allowing you to switch off the heating/cooling unit if you prefer to have fresh air instead. This property is opposite a Super C and subway, and walking distance to an IGA, pharmacy, and lots of other commerces. Rue Principale, the main street downtown, is just a short walk away (10-15 mins?), though personally I felt safer driving, as there are no sidewalks. The property is quiet, and also has official quiet hours, but is not completely soundproof. So, for the quietest stay & best views, request a third/top-floor room. Relative to the cost of this property (approx. $127/night including taxes for a Queen room), the value far exceeds expectations! You will love it.

Although the room is very clean and comfortable and totally met our needs and expectations, one needs to remember that this is an older motel. That is not to imply that anything was worn out, it just means that it should not be judged against new motels for facilities etc.

Could use more towel hooks. Consider lower floors for older people. As there only stairs.

The room was very clean. The bed was comfy and the spa bath was huge. We would definitely come back again. The rooms were in good repair. The outside of the building could use a refresh. First though when arriving was that it was a little run down looking but the room was very nice and not run down at all.

We asked for a ground floor but got a third floor. The walk up was rough. The lighting in the room could have been better set up.

Room was very well equipped with a small kitchen, utensils, etc. Well located - close to lots of restaurants and shops. Room was also a good size. Very friendly, kind, and helpful staff.

Furnitures are a bit outdated. Also, the bar across the street had a super loud concert one night and we couldn’t sleep… but we acknowledge that it wasn’t the hotel’s fault.

Huge room with windows on both sides so lots of fresh air coming through. A great view of town and nice chairs to sit on outside the room. The staff were amazingly friendly and made a real connection. The room was spotlessly clean, and the huge spa bath was just what I needed after a huge day of driving. It was a very short walk to Rue Principale to check out all the great restaurants and boutiques. Best of all, I didn't hear a sound from adjoining rooms, and I didn't hear any traffic. Perfect!

The rooms were clean and comfortable, staffs were exceptionally good and kind!

The room is simple, but all you needed is there, just like home. The staff was always joyful, very respectful and ready to help in anything they can. They did helped me with my bed that was a bit to firm for me and they gave me a room with a softer bed.

Huge airconditioned room. Very clean. Big comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. Big screen smart TV. Wonderful spa bath, right in the room! Fast Wi-Fi Amazingly friendly staff. Would stay again!
