The property, view, room, beach and pool was fantastic. Food and stay was extremely expensive (over double what we spend in cancun area). We ended up buying all inclusive package for the minimum of three days so that we did not have to think about how expensive each drink and meal was. Tax was 32%. All inclusive was an additional $360 per day per couple.

They didn't have water available (even for purchase) after midnight. The front desk person was very rude about this. I feel this is absolutely insane in a country where we aren't able to drink the tap water. The cleaning staff did not leave waters that day in our room either. Additionally, they locked us out of the room our last day because of a "miscommunication" with booking.com about the extra night we added. Luckily, I had the confirmation but they never apologized for the inconvenience and were ready to kick us out. Mind you, this was something I showed when I checked in and they told me 3 nights instead of 4 so we thought it was handled.

We stayed in the grand vacations and had a room that faced the water. We absolutely love sunrises and this allows you to lay in bed, relax and soak up the morning sun (it is bright!). Whales were breaching throughout the day which was incredible to see! We enjoyed relaxing by the pools, which were gorgeous and rented chairs over the Infiniti pool for a day. The fitness room was top notch and loved the morning lattes from the coffee shop in the main lobby. Oysters and sushi by the pool were both lovely. From sunrise to sunset we really enjoyed our long weekend here!

The Steakhouse quality of food was not worth the price. We spent a lot, it wasn’t good and left hungry. That is the only “negative” we had.

The resort was beautiful and the staff members were very kind. Carlos at the bellstand was very helpful and knowledgeable. I loved the spa and the photography studio services. Both were extremely professional!

I didn't like the 2k incidental fee being placed on hold upon check-in. That is the highest fee I have ever encountered. I am financially secure, so I could afford that, but how many people can? The accommodations and the food seemed very expensive to me. Lastly, in Starbucks I was served a yogurt with nuts, although I specifically disclosed to the cashier I could not have nuts due to a severe allergy. A sign should be placed on the counter regarding items that contain nuts.

Housekeeping was stellar. Room was very comfortable, with a fantastic view.

Length of lack.of electricity and lack of accurate information was not acceptable. A battery operated sourcec of light should have been provided. Also, I had breakfast on site twice, and while food was good, it was delivered lukewarm. Lack.of comfortable seating in the lobby .

This property is cool hip and beautiful.

I did not like how we were approached to go to their timeshare program as soon as we arrived. I wish they did not have that going on at all. Be careful - be ready to say no - OR plan on spending hours and hours of your vacation going over their Hilton Club options. No thank you!!!!

The pools are fantastic. Everybody has accessibility from their lounge chairs. The waterfall edge is great for whale watching. plenty of beach chairs if you prefer the beach. There’s a bar at the beach is well with swings as chairs. The gardens are nice. we ate at all restaurants the food and presentation was wonderful. There’s a small store on site that has delicious gelato, as well as Starbucks coffee menu and delicious croissants! also, beer, liquor, pop, souvenirs, snacks, etc. Tried out the spa for a massage which was fantastic. They also have a steam room, so bring your bathing suit with you. as for the room, the majority have a fantastic view, whether partial or full view of the ocean, and the bathrooms are quite large.

I always love the open outdoor areas with the three infinity pools. I have never found a hotel/resort that offers me as much. The staff is always amazing!

The lack of communication with guests about events going on at the hotel during our stay. There was a huge wedding that rented out portions of the hotel so we could not access certain pools, bars and areas. No one let us know this was taking place at check-in. This impacted our stay. Also beware, even though I called to be sure that all one bedrooms had views of the ocean, ours was almost completely blocked by palm trees. The staff was great and moved us to a room, unfortunately all that was available was on the second floor (less privacy) a few nights later. It was not the same view we have had in the past. I suggest calling ahead of time to ensure your exact room has an ocean view.

Everything in the resort was beautiful. Beach was the best part

They didn’t clean our room during our stay. They never explained we needed to reserve the poolside chairs. Everything was taken in the morning.
