What a superb hotel! This seriously made our whole trip. The facilities are very cool, and really stands out in Maebashi. A true destination hotel.

We would have loved to have stayed in the main building, or had a little more information on how to discover the artworks dotted around the place. It would have been good to not have to pay extra for the sauna facilities.

Good getaway from the bustling cityscape. Great for travelers who enjoy art, design, architecture and more. We tried the herbal mist spa, tea ceremony and the dinner set at the hotel's restaurant. There is a bakery and blue bottle coffee cafe just around the corner for morning breakfast. The rooms were much more spacious as compared to other parts of Japan hotels. The spaces within the hotel were filled with various plants and art.

Electric points in the room were not easily accessible, especially for a more senior guest. We requested if we could have an evening meal suitable for vegetarians, salads and items without meat but were told this was not possible. Would have expected a hotel of this standard to be more accomodating.

Obviously if you're looking at this hotel it doesn't need to be explained that it's an artistic destination. It's absolutely worth visiting at least once.

The service and food were excellent. I thought the room was very small and the price of the stay was double what it should be. Food at the lounge was priced very reasonably. I wish this hotel had an onsen on-site or very nearby.

Really liked the room and the unique look of the hotel both inside and outside. It was in a great location, being right on the main road for the Daruma festival, as well as being just a 15 minute walk from the main station.

The hotel Lounge restaurant was a little pricey for what it was, and my partner and I were let down by the unlimited drink menu. The hotel itself had no faults though.

Wonder place. This is one of the best hotel I have ever stayed despite it is not in a bit city the quality is easily higher than many places I have ever been. The restaurant, bakery, cafe were exceeding my expectations. There is a bar that I would really want to go but unfortunately is only open on Friday and Saturday.

Gunma Maebashi is just not a place for people to simply go without a reason or a car

Beautiful architectural hotel! Attention to detail, love the art on display in hotel & town. Room was white, calm and relaxing, balcony was a plus. Extra option to reserve a private sauna was amazing and delicious bakery downstairs.

Carpet has seen better days, in need of replacement and automated fan in bathroom was quite loud (only fan in room can be controlled)

A lovely combination between art, architecture and green environment. We fully enjoyed our stay in the inspiring environment and the breakfast was delicious.

Amazing service, the best open kitchen meal I've ever eaten and beautiful rooms and wonderful staff. Loved this hotel and everything about it
