We had to make a last minute booking here when the roads up to the ski resort area closed due to heavy snow. I think our expectations were low due to the average reviews, low price and because this was one of the only places with last-minute availability. I'm happy to say we were extremely satisfied with the hotel. It was extremely clean, well-appointed, the staff were great English speaking communicators all for a very low price. This hotel is an excellent value.

The decor is a bit dated and the rooms are on the small side.

We called that we will be arriving late at around 11pm and its winter, so when we went to our room, its cold!!! we expected the room to be warm since they already know that we are coming with our children..

A good spot to crash for the night between hiking, fishing, etc at nearby Mt. Akagi. Staff were friendly and helpful, check-in and check-out was easy, and rooms were as expected - a place to sleep, a nice little fridge, clean bathroom, and nice amenities like toothbrush, soaps, etc.

The Racine has a lovely lobby. The room is nice. It comes with a good size desk, comfortable desk chair and a closet to hang your clothes. The bed is very comfortable. The rom comes with a air purifier which was nice to use.

It might be nice to have another tea bag of a different variety. Also, it may be nice to have a coffee type of tea bag. Or maybe that could be available at the front desk for someone who wants to make hot coffee.

I like the cleanliness of the room, hallway and bathroom. The yukata sleepwear is nice. The WiFi worked great. It is handy to have the ice machine and a microwave on the same floor or on the adjacent floor.

Could provide hot coffee somewhere other than canned coffee from the vending machine. Drip coffee could be included in the room or available at the front desk.

I like the clues proximity to the train station and there’s a large convenience store within a few minutes walk. The lobby is roomy and nice. it’s convenient to have a microwave and ice machine on the same floor as my room. The desk is spacious and the chair is nice for working.

the key fob is bulky and noisy.

We stayed in a Japanese style room. It was like home and very comfortable. The breakfast was also wonderful.

Nothing really

Proximal to Shin-Maebashi station. Breakfast was good. Stuff were welcoming and kind. Allowed luggage storage after checkout until evening. (Check out at 10am) Room size was accommodating for 2 adult and 2 children of age 7 and 5.

Nothing to complain.

My son stayed due to the college entrance examination. As he spent a comfortable stay, he could concentrate on the original purpose. He shared that the staffs were kind and the facility was clean. If your children will need to stay at Maebashi, maybe this hotel will bring good fortune ?!

It was a bit difficult to reserve a non-smoking room during the busy period of exam season. Finally, I got a non-smoking room for my son, which was very important.

I like the lovely lobby and the nice wooden accents in the room. every thing is very clean. it’s handy to have an ice machine and microwave on the same floor as the guest rooms. the desk chair is comfortable.

I couldn’t get the air conditioner to warm the room around 11 pm.
