The double room was quite small but comfortable with a good shower in the ensuite. No aircon but the fan was efficient even in the very high temperature. Nice breakfast, nice pool.

Luckily the other room was not booked so we could enjoy the "private kitchen" privately as well as the communal sitting area. It would not have been the same experience if the quadruple room had been booked.

This was a renovated rustic manor house in a quiet location on the outskirts of Montoire sur le Loir with a lovely pool area and outdoor seating areas. There was a large communal guest lounge with TV and DVDs (some in English) and large dining table for 6 people and a communal kitchen where our host Jerome prepared a good breakfast. We had the double bedroom with a small modern ensuite shower room. There were 2 other bedrooms (adjoined) with use of the downstairs bathroom. There was secure parking and we were given a remote control for the external gates. Good location for cycling along the Loir river (Sport Passion 41 bike hire shop in Montoire but closed Sunday and Monday) and there was a Lidl just down the road in Montoire. We had a lovely meal in the Italian restaurant Le Piron on Jerome's recommendation. A nice relaxing stay.

The wooden spiral staircase was a bit noisy but Jerome is planning to replace it

Our accommodation was comfortable Nice pool. Jerome the owner, helpful and quietly looking after us for our breakfast. Kitchen very well equipped. Excellent place to self cater. Bright bathroom

Didn’t realise that we had booked a gite. Our fault Shower alas was not very powerful, but it was fine

Great location ideally situated for overnight stay en-Route to Cherbourg. Gated driveway to the lovely grounds of the property which includes a small swimming pool, ideal for freshening up after a long drive. No evening meal available but owner gave us directions to a very pleasant riverside restaurant.

Creaking spiral staircase to 1st floor is a bit challenging, especially carrying luggage.

Nice location and guest. The room was comfortable and the breakfast really good. A lot of space.

Unfortunately, the swimming pool was not possible to use as it has been some contamination in it, making a need to be cleaned by a professional.

Very quiet and personal. We had the whole barn conversion to ourselves. It’s still a slight work in progress but the hosts were very helpful and welcoming.

Calm and comfortable place. Very good for romantic time Room and hall were warmed-up by heating before our arrival

We had the whole property to ourselves, including the pool, and it was very spacious. the host was very friendly and made us French breakfast every morning. he was there for everything we needed. it was a very lovely stay!
