We had our wedding in the nearby beach during our stay at Valmer Resort. As a first surprise, we were able to check-in around 9.30, and we received the pool villa as an upgrade (we booked normal sea-view room), which was amazing, it was elevated our comfort and mood during our stay. We would like to highlight Feulaqa, the lovely recepcionist lady for her help during our wedding preparation. We also received a nice decoration and champagne with fruit plate after our wedding. We also had a nice candle light dinner, with the help of the restaurant manager. We would like to also mention Amilla from the reception because of his kindness. Over all we had an amazing stay, because of the nice enviroment, and the kindness and care what we received.

No Tea or Coffee in Villa, you need to pay extra if you want to get it (we payed €400 per night for 2 people). Teams, Coffee or Water should be complimentary, so as sugar or salt or basic washing liquid for dishes. All amenities in Kitchen and Villa itself are old including Kettle and ugly old cooker and oven. Single sockets near beds, with bedside lamps plugged in to them, so if you want to charge your phone, you have No option of using bedside lamps. Everything in the resort is aged. It needs renovation. It wasn’t horrible, but for this price you would expect little more. Dinner buffet cost 650 Rupii per person (around €45), food was tasty, but very small choice.

Villa with private pool was amazing! Eveything was soo perfect we did not want to leave to exlplore any other islands but to spend whole vacation there :) Very tasty breakfasts! Also we tried Creole cuisine on Sunday (only Sundays and Wednesdays).

In general everything was perfect. Some things that is not very familiar to us: for the coffee machine in kitchen (nescafe dolce gusto type) you need to buy capsules from restaurant. But if you are OK with instant coffees, they place 2 sacks each day. Also except the day of arrival water bottles not provided.

The Valmer Resort is overall a nice hotel. We've had a room with an ocean view and balcony. Stunning. The room was very spacious. The hotel is located on the south of the island and approximately 10 minutes by foot to the most beautiful beach. The way back is a bit of struggle because it's uphill but the hotel has few buggies and can give you a ride. The room was equiped with a TV, kettle, coffee mashine (but without capsules), fridge, safe, AC and hairdryer. It's also possible to book a massage or facial in the hotel spa. The gym was ok - free weights, cardio mashines, only one mat, swiss ball. The pool area is absolutely amazing. The late checkout wasn't possible but you can keep your luggage at the reception and can spend the time at the pool and take a shower in the bathroom at the lobby as well. The wifi was working really well.

There is no door between the room and the bathroom so you don't have a lot of privacy. The toilett is separate but the door there also isn't providing a lot of privacy :). There are no USB-slots in the room. The gym is open from 7:00 a.m. - 8 p.m. The breakfast (7:30 - 10:30) was ok but don't get fooled by the pictures on the website :)There is zero vegetable, a lot of sweet pastry, pancakes, waffles and delicious fruit. There is also a chef who can make eggs for you.

The pool and the reastaurant has an amazing view! The hotel is so quiet and I just loved the place! We stayd in 9 different places with the price range of 120€-1200€ per night and I have to say that this was definitely the best!

The music at the restaurant and pool. It didn't suit the atmosphere. Also I could feel that the management at the restaurant wasn't the best. Heard the manager scream to one of the empoyees one day. That is not cool if you are a boss.

We had the ocean view room, looked new, is spacious, view was great - forest,granit rocks, ocean, sun set, large terrace, quite private from the way how it is build, very well furnished for hanging around. Staff was very friendly, particularly at restaurant. We need to check out at 04:00 in the morning, they offered a small take away breakfast and even at that early time we could call for a buggy luggage service. The hotel garden area is kept in a very neat way. We liked the location „up the hill“ very much. You sit amidst the tree tops at restaurant and pool area and watch the large fruit bats flying on eye level. We considered it as a „very good hotel“, we have no experience with 5* Resorts at Seychelles, but there you would pay 2-3 times more and hopefully you get that more 😉

The position of the Airconditioning was not good ! Exactly blowing to the bed! It worked but the positioning in the room was terrible. You get only one small towel per room ( in addition to two big ones) even requesting an additional small towel for the 2nd person does not work 😒 a Nespresso machine and tea kettle is in the room but not even one complimentary capsule and tea bag. But they provide an empty original Nespresso wooden case for capsules - here you fell mocked! We knew this from other reviews and bought our nespresso supply right in time😅 ( no supermarket on the west side has it)

What to begin with… Incredible experience! Valmer is a great resort that deserves more than 3 stars, for sure. They welcomed us so nicely, with champagne, fruits and they offered us the room earlier than the check-in time. The whole resort is an oasis of beauty, nature and great people! The staff was so nice, the pool is clean and has a beautiful view over the bay and the room was more than expected. We had a huge balcony and a very comfortable bed. I strongly recommend this place!

The Valmer Resort was a fantastic choice for our Mahe trip. The villa was absolutely astonishing, with amazing view, spacious rooms, comfortable beds and lounge balcony area that was perfect for enjoying the nights. The breakfast was rich and delicious and the pool area was breathtaking - must try swimming before sunset to enjoy its full beauty! The proximity to some of the best beaches on the island makes it a perfect fit for any travel adventurer who wants to experience the best of the visit. Thanks a lot to the friendly and welcoming staff as well who made our stay as fabulous as possible.

The open bath area in the Family villa is nice but not very convenient when someone is still sleeping in the room

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location The staff is extremely friendly and helpful Loved the room we were given ❤️ and the view to die for. Thank you for the upgrade ❤️ The rooms were very clean and tidy and friendly staff.

Breakfast could be better as it's too basic and not much variety of options available. Being a tropical country they could easily put tropical fruit variety on the Breakfast buffet. Food vice we didn't eat from the hotel simply because of the timings they served and not many options were there for our liking. Only had breakfast! Prefer coffee and tea in the room as when you wake up that's the first thing you need. When asked the reception, we were told to get it from the Restaurant and we weren't very keen on climbing all those stairs just to get coffee. Appreciate if you could change this. Its not a complaint its a suggestion Thank you for making our stay memorable Loved everything ❤️

Everything about the property and the staff. Highly recommended

1. The fact that they don't change the breakfast menu. 2. They don't have salt and pepper on the tables and one must request this everytime. 3. Not having enough air conditioning in the dining hall. 4. They change the dinner ala carte menu to buffet without giving advance notice to the guests so guests are forced to opt for the expensive buffet due to not having another option. 5. They can extend breakfast to end at 10h00 rather than 09h30
