Bernique Guesthouse is a nice and tranquil place to enjoy La Digue. It's just a 15-minute walk from the ferry port. The rooms are spacious, the mattresses comfortable, and the breakfast delicious. The staff is very helpful.

The room details mentioned a washing machine, mosquito net, and hairdryer among the facilities. Unfortunately, this was not accurate. It was quite disappointing as having a washing machine was one of the reasons we chose this guesthouse. While they do offer a laundry service, it is quite expensive. Additionally, there is a document in the room explaining the access to shower facilities on the last day. They will allow you to use a room if one is available; otherwise, they provide an outdoor shower.

The location is great, a good one take away is 1 minute walk, breakfast was delicious, the staff was friendly. You can rent a bike from them to explore an island

The room was surrounded by trees and bushes, it was not hot inside, but it was dark, the lights are dim. It will be great to add more light in the bedroom and bathroom.

- refrigerator was kinda old and not in a good condition anymore - bikes available for rent were not particularly well-maintained - breakfast a little too early (8-9 AM)

The staff were ever so friendly and very polite. The best Guest house on La Digue. I really appreciate their friendly nature. Always smiling and always being helpful. The apartments are so clean and the bed very comfortable. I will definitely use Bernique guest house again. Overall score 10/10

I liked everything.

Good breakfast, nice people, nice setup, room was fine and bed really comfy. Situation is quite OK, not the best in La Digue but everything is so close this is not a problem!

No towels for the beach (also true we didn't ask for those) No possibility to pay by credit card unfortunately.

Apartmens was quite big, clean, kind stuff, very good breakfast.

For us there were too less light intesity, but for others can be good because of hot during the day.

Located near the jetty( just a 15 minutes walk or even less by bicycle) the establishment is surrounded by the island’s nature with is incredible soothing as all you hear are sounds from the jungle surrounding the place.The guesthouse is dreamy! the courtyard and the breakfast area are as if you were in a novel . the rooms simple but well taken care of and cute, with basic facilities for coffee and tea, a refrigerator to keep your things cool , A/C and ceiling fan so you can never get hot. outside of the room you have a small porch to relax and enjoy thecserenity of this place.

The only thing that we found a bit off were the bicycles that were for rent on the premises. Most of them were worn down and rusty due to the humidity of the are.

Sylvania is a fantastic host! Always willing to advise and help. She arranged bike rental for us straight away, she was flexible with breakfast times when we had other plans in the morning, arranged a snorkelling trip and taxis very quickly. Thanks to her excellent network of contact on the island, we managed to meet friends from years ago. She dealt even with the slightest complications promptly and always with a smile. A special bonus was that when we mentioned tropical fruits that were out of season, she still managed to get them for us to taste. We very much recommend Bernique Guesthouse!

Breakfast-very nice selection with every day different fruit juice, savory snacks, fruit, toast and jam plus the eggs cooked as per order

No answer on my two emails. Very thin walls. You can hear conversations of the neighbors.

The room was clean and breakfast was good. But above all I have been impressed by the helping ladies! My son forgot his phone in the rental car on Praslin and thy arranged everything to get it back the next day - wow!!! Many thanks, you are outstanding 🙏🏼
