Spacious and never crowded: The resort was fully booked during our stay, but it never felt packed. There were always plenty of empty lounge chairs and private spots around the beach and resort, making it feel peaceful and exclusive. Amazing staff: Everyone was incredibly warm and welcoming, making our stay feel extra special. Beautiful beaches: The resort has two beaches. One has a stunning coral reef for snorkeling, even better than many tour spots. The other is quieter and has shallow waters, perfect for kayaking or for kids to swim. Great honeymoon options: They offer amazing experiences for couples. We had a candlelit dinner on the beach, a sunset cruise, and a lovely surprise when they gifted us our final dinner. Tortoise park inside the resort: You can pet and feed giant tortoises, which was such a unique and fun experience. Incredible wine menu: Every restaurant had an extensive wine list with pages of great wines from all over the world. The sommeliers clearly knew their stuff, and we loved their recommendations. We wanted to do a wine tasting, but unfortunately, it was fully booked.

The resort has five restaurants—one buffet and four à la carte. While there’s a good variety, and the buffet theme changes daily, we found the food a bit underwhelming. It looks great, but the taste doesn’t quite match the presentation. Honestly, it felt more like a three-star restaurant than what you’d expect from a luxury resort.

Wonderful hotel to stay in. We don't usually holiday in resort environments, but Ephelia was exceptional. The food was incredible. Regarding conscious eating: vegetarian / vegan / pescatarian - there's an Asian section with fantastic vegetarian / vegan options, and delicious fish every day in a million ways. We don't know how Ephelia does it: ALL the staff were totally sensational - every single person, without exception, from top to bottom, beginning to end. The property is huge, but there are golf carts which pick up and drop off. Even when it's fully booked, as it was, it doesn't feel crowded. There are 2 phenomenal beaches and 4 brilliant pools, one of which is a "quiet pool", which we liked. The beach is not crowded, and kept very clean. Excellent and beautiful gardens all around. The yoga offering every day was wonderful, the Spa environment is super.

A small thing only: We didn't realise Ephelia is so popular with families. We are parents & understand the dynamics of little children, but were traveling without & would have appreciated an adults only restaurant option - especially for dinner - similar to the "quiet pool" area.

The location is fantastic if you want to just chill. Two wonderful beaches either side of the resort. Kid's club was excellent. Snorkelling was very good off the northern beach.

A la carte restaurants were fully booked for dinner despite trying to book 4 days in advance. While they eventually secured tables for 2 of the 4 nights it was an annoying start to the holiday arriving to no availability. Shuttle schedule could be more frequent or else bicycles should be provided at a more reasonable rates. One major annoyance that isn't really the hotels fault, but we saw so many mosquitos here compared to La Digue and Praslin, if you are someone who gets bitten badly bring plenty of repellant.

Amazing huge resort, with plenty of facilities and very green. Super great with kids, we like the kids club and the food is free for kids under 6. We rented bikes and it was very nice to ride it under the palms.

It was hard to book a restaurant (you need to do it at least 3 days in advance). Without the reservation you need to do in room service (which is ok though), or do a buffet restaurant which is pretty expensive (50euro without drinks). Also the hotel is so big, it took some time to understand what is what and where.

I’m going to write a long report as the hotel worth considering for a get-away holidays and is a real gem in Mahe. It has everything you need for perfect stay, specially for families with kids. Plenty of things to keep you and kids busy. Literally, you can stay all the time in the hotel but feel that you’ve been to many places and done all possible activities. Spa is beyond expectations, with external whirlpools with thermal and cool water, magnificent views to tropical gardens. The therapy (massage) I’ve got was very professional. I believe the hotel has a very effective management team. The facilities, services, every detail is carefully envisaged and devised to the maximum comfort of clients. The area is huge, it gives you the feeling of living in the tropical garden/forest. The layout of accommodation is designed in a way to give the feeling of privacy, tranquility and The staff in the hotel is extremely polite, attentive and efficient. There are many options for dining. All restaurants in the hotel making a high class food. The breakfast and buffet dinner (Corossol restaurant) are beyond expectations, huge variety of dishes from international cuisine. It’s obvious the menu prepared with thorough consideration for people with different preferences and diets. Everything is tasty, fresh, well presented. The deserts for dinner are in abundance and absolutely delicious! I recommend to take half/full board, it’s cost-effective and well worth it. The hotel has 2 main beaches. The North beach is magnificent, long, absolutely clean with no corals or seaweeds, not effected by tides, you can swim anytime. There are few travel agencies located in the hotel which can offer various excursions and activities, I recommend Creol Agency. Very efficient staff and service they provide at competitive prices. Definitely, I would recommend this hotel for stay in Seychelles, no disappointments during our entire stay.

Constance Ephelia is situated on a large property. The proximity of restaurants, bars, and two beaches can be an advantage for some, and a disadvantage for others. For us, it was an advantage. A club car was always available. The two beaches were very nice, especially the northern one, where swimming was possible even when it was windy elsewhere. The Junior Suite was spacious enough, with a nice balcony. The service (ordering extra water and coffee) was impeccable, as was the overall hotel customer service. Communication via WhatsApp was very convenient. We also received complimentary sparkling wine on arrival and for our anniversary, which was a nice touch. We also had a free extension to our room due to a late flight. The hotel also had a doctor available at no extra charge. The food at the hotel was good and varied enough. The table service at the Corossol restaurant was excellent. Special thanks to our waiter Reagan, and the excellent sommelier Anitah.

The Junior Suite was a bit dated. The furniture was old and somewhat worn, and there were no sockets by the bed. Housekeeping wasn't very thorough either. The atmosphere at dinner was not befitting a five-star hotel. Children ran between tables and the dress code was not observed. There was no (or not properly marked) adults-only area where one could enjoy dinner in peace. Considering the price-to-quality ratio, the Constance Ephelia is not a five-star hotel. The service is what really sets this hotel apart, so we'd happily give it 4.5 stars overall. Finally, we enjoyed our stay, but we're not sure we'd return. Maybe next time we'll check out the Constance Lemuria on Praslin Island.

During our recent anniversary celebration in Seychelles, we stayed at Constance Ephelia, where our experience was exceptional. The staff welcomed us with warm hospitality, making us feel valued throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, elegant, and impeccably clean, featuring a balcony overlooking the garden, with special mention to Sanjay, who ensured our comfort with attentive service. The location offered breathtaking views, with direct access to both beaches and lush surroundings. Dining at Corossol was a highlight; the food was of high quality and beautifully presented, complemented by the exceptional service from Chef Manoj and Sommelier Sachin, who enhanced our anniversary dinner. The hotel’s facilities were also impressive, with a well-maintained spa and wellness center, where the passionate Spa Manager Chennet catered to our pampering needs. Additionally, we enjoyed eco-friendly activities, including a guided tour of the mangroves with Hillary, who encouraged environmental awareness. Overall, Constance Ephelia exceeded our expectations, and we are eagerly anticipating our next visit.

We spent five nights & six days living the suite life—quite literally. If you're the sort who enjoys a bit of exclusivity with your sunburn, make sure to book a suite: it’s the golden ticket to the South Beach, now blissfully privatised for the chosen few (read: not the beach villa peasants). Based on our semi-professional villa voyeurism, the hillside and presidential villas are clearly the real estate crown jewels. As for the others… let’s say they make a great backdrop for your Instagram stories, from a respectful distance. The spa? Sublime. The kids' club? Adequate enough to reclaim your sanity in short bursts. Evenings, however, are eerily quiet—as if the hotel’s motto after 7 p.m. is "Shhh, we rest." One might expect a venue this size to host at least a modest samba showdown or mildly scandalous cocktail soirée. Alas, no. Bring your own entertainment—or a loud friend. Romantic getaway? Only if your definition of romance involves chasing your children around the pool while fantasising about the presidential suite. Couples without presidential ambitions may find it a touch... pragmatic. Families, though, will feel right at home—especially the extroverted ones who enjoy making poolside small talk.

We valiantly embarked on a culinary tour of the resort, bravely sampling every restaurant like mildly jaded Michelin inspectors. The victor? Helios, by a landslide. It’s where ambience meets just enough breeze and background music to make you feel like you’re on a very glamorous yacht—minus the sea sickness. As for the food, well... let’s just say it tries its best despite its identity crisis. When your ingredients have passports and jet lag, perfection is too much to ask. Still, Helios manages to plate up a pretty compelling case for itself—especially when you’ve had a cocktail or three.

The hotel is in an absolutely beautiful setting, the same size as a Maldivian island resort (and run in the same way) but with the benefit of being on a beautiful mountainous island with more to explore. It doesn't encroach onto the two pristine white sand beaches which feel untouched and unspoilt and from the sea you don't even know it's there as it's hidden by the palm trees. Overall, the staff are very friendly, particularly so to our 18 month old son. It is in fact one of the most family friendly hotels I have been to - children before the age of 6 eat free from a decent children's menu and are well catered for in all of the restaurants. There are lots of different pools to swim in, all with shallow pools attached and because there are so many none of them ever feel too busy. There is a fantastic kids club available and even a giant tortoise enclosure which you can feed each day in the afternoon. I want to say a particularly big thank you to John and Ismael who were brilliant with our son, taking him (and us!) on lots of buggy tours of the resort. And also to Prabhu in the Corrosol and Adam & Eve restaurants.
