I recently had the pleasure of staying at 81 Joy in Singapore for a 5-day visit, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The hotel's prime location near bus and MRT stations made exploring the city convenient. The efficient transportation options enhanced the overall accessibility of the hotel. During my stay, I received excellent assistance from the staff, particularly from Ricky, who was exceptionally helpful, and the manager, Fazri, who exhibited politeness and a high level of professionalism. Their commitment to ensuring a positive guest experience was evident throughout my stay. Although the room was on the smaller side, the breathtaking view from the hotel compensated for it. The well-functioning air conditioning was a welcome relief from the Singaporean heat, ensuring a comfortable stay. I would like to commend Ricky and Fazri for their outstanding service, and I appreciate the efforts of the entire staff at 81 Joy. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant stay with a dedicated and friendly team. Keep up the great work!

It’s a quiet location and the area is nice. There is several places to eat within walking distance. Also 7-Eleven and other mini marts are close by just a minute walk.

It’s starting to age. Some of the amenities are not in perfect working order. In our room the shower head was broken but still functioning. The aircon was a bit noisy but not too bothersome. The bed was a bit hard for me but my wife thought it was ok.

The staff were so courteous and very friendly and supportive

There is no fridge in the room for storage of food items and drinks for long stay customers. I will suggest that they have fridges in the rooms of customers staying more than two days. Despite my staying for 10days the staff improvise by helping me to keep my food in the fridge at the reception.

The room was clean. They clean your room every day. Have free mineral water, coffee/tea, and toiletries. There are also towels provided which is good. What I love about the hotel is that there is a bus stop near it. Very convenient for tourists like us. So many restaurants and locals are nice.

The location as always is convenient with all street food and other variety of food available. Value for money compared to places in Singapore and can't complain for the facilities for the price.

A little more attention to cleanliness is the only negative point from myside.

The facility was good so was the staff especially Ricky for assisting us with our booking under booking.com. He was able to make sure we were charged properly. Initially we were charged on a different rate by the previous staff but was eventually sorted by Ricky. He was so accommodating and helpful with our stay making this trip a memorable one, as this was my 1st out of the country travel. Thank you very much Ricky!

Rooms are a little small as well as the rest room

You get what you pay, so yeah we get cheap price for Singapore so we lowering our expectations, giving this 10 rating based on our lower expectation , the one that exceed our expectations is the staff were very helpful and friendly

It’s pretty cheap and the staffs are pretty friendly especially ricky . He received me well over in the hotel
