this was fine. The next place, J Link Hotel in Hong Kong from Booking.com was a disgrace!

This hotel was fine, but since Booking isn't sending me the next hotel on my itinerary to review, I'll comment that I will never use Booking.com again (or its affiliate Priceline.com). The follow on hotel to this one in Hong Kong, the J Link Hotel, was a smoke filled disgrace, but Booking's "don't call us, call them" is more disgraceful still. I checked out 15 minutes after I checked into J Link Hotel. If they didn't refund that first night, fine. But nights 2, 3 and 4 should be refunded. J Link Hotel says its not us to refund but some "Elong International Travel" I've never heard of. Booking won't step in although they were more than happy to take my money. DO NOT USE Booking.com. They won't stand behind their bookings! They did not stand behind mine!! I will never use them ever again!!

Room was not very clean. It's budget and they're proud of their 8.2 but the room was still slightly dirty upon check in. No need to complain about it as I expected much worse so I was surprised that wasn't the case. Additionally, no fridge. And I know Singapore is small and they have to make up for lack of space but a small fridge would fit easily under the desk. The location was terrible. It was very safe so I was not concerned at all about safely. But that street was full of prostitutes nightly. Other than those, and I can't be picky, it was a very nice stay for the price and the staff. I probably won't return.

Bed was very comfortable. Room and bathroom are thoughtfully laid out. Very clean. Quiet. Excellent air conditioning. Great for one person but would be tight for two. Lots of restaurants and shops close by. A major bus stop is at the top of the street.

The hotel is located in the former red light district. There are still sex shops and tatoo parlors around. The majority of people on the street are young to middle aged men...like 90% of the people. On the hotel's street there was litter and several overflowing garbage bins...every day. As a woman traveling alone, I didn't feel comfortable walking at night in this area. Wifi was slow.

Reception helpful, rooms equipped adequately. It is smaller (like everything in Singapore) but you can find what you need here. Rooms clean, bathroom fully functional. There are several options for breakfast on the street nearby. Air conditioning fully functional, quiet, many adjustment options. Beds are comfortable and European length (I'm 190cm without a problem). The elevator in the accommodation is fully sufficient and fast. The metro station is about 15 min. walk along a busier street, where you can buy everything you need on the way. If you are satisfied with the bus connection, the public transport stop is just around the corner from the street.

Nothing we would not like, the fact that there is no breakfast in the accommodation can be easily solved on the street by the hotel. Affordable (for Singapore), we can only recommend.

We stayed here for 9 nights rooms were very clean, bed was surprisingly very comfortable..very quiet of a night, the staff all very friendly..will definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying here again great value for money. Easy walking to the kallang MRT. Highly recommended the restaurant on the left corner of the main street when walking out of the hotel..great food

Quite good value-for-money option! Cleanliness of the room was spot-on, the mattress was comfortable (on the harder side, mind that if it may bother), more spacious than expected and close to public transportation of my interest (Kallang metro is under 10' on foot).

Honestly, considering what gets advertised and what you pay for the room, only have a few things to say. Windows that open (even on incline) would be one - fresh air to flow in, a mini fridge of sorts would be great to have (considering you want to drink cold water) and more of black-out curtains would have helped (I prefer a 'darkness' sleep). All these were however things I had read in comments / expected to a degree, so no real surprises.

Our room is clean, and they are maintained throughout our stay. The bed is comfy enough. I would appreciate it if there were additional tables to put our stuff on. The comfort room is well maintained, and towels are replaced every day. The location is good for those looking for a place near the National Stadium. We only walked back to the hotel after the concert we watched -- about 30 30-minute walk. Better than going through the train station traffic. Great restaurants in the area btw, and convenient stores are accessible!

We hope there is a better reception area or place to hang out outside. TV channel could be improved, WiFi is buggy too.

Ibis budget Singapore style. Basic small room but very functional clean with comfortable bed pillows and linens Wifi fast and stable. Very quiet. Good nights sleep. Air conditioning quiet and effective Met 4 of the reception staff. All friendly and helpful. Excellent cleaner Location vibrant with well stocked cheap supermarket 2 min walk Buses to central every few minutes. Only 20 min give or take. Stayed 6 nights and would recommend Good value for reliable budget accomodation

Quiet, public transport & food convenience. First, buy Ez-link card. MRT to Aljunied. Check bus stop board, & look for "Opp Mohd Salleh mosque", 2 stops to get down. ABC shop, that's where Lorong 10 is. To Changi airport, walk across & thro Lorong 11. Across road is Sims Ave bus stop. Look for "Eunos stn', & count stops to get down. Sheng Siong is a 24hr supermarket is across the road, to the R of ABC shop. NOTE: For average size people to get into shower panel door. Both of us use 20" trolley luggages. No issue with space.

Overall really a good value.

The shower door doesn't close entirely, it is just a half door, so when you shower you either have to be really careful or you will have water all over the toilet/bathroom (combined). Also the electricity plug in is far from the bed--it's hard to charge your gadgets.
