We stayed in a 2 bedroom house for new year's eve with smaller children. Everything was great, other reviews are valid about good things. Some extra highlights: - our traditional Slowak wooden log-house was really great, inside and outside. It is big enough for 4 but even for 6. There is a convertible couch in the living room + 4 beds. Interior is really cozy and equipment great. Fully equipped kitchen included. And it's warm due to floor heating. Parking next to the house. And it has a nice smell. 😉🌲 - staff nice and helpful, limited English communication worked fine - buffet style breakfast was great too, good variety and quality, and nothing was empty even close to end. Combination of cold and warm, sweats, vegetables, fruits included. Coffee also good. - buffet style dinner (part of half board) was also great. More the traditional Slovak food but for us it was perfect. Good taste and quality, replaced continuously. Lemonade drink included. (Note: breakfast and dinner in a separate building, short walk, 2-3 mins needed) - various activities are available in a separate building (short walk, 2-3 mins). 2 hours usage of swimming and wellness area per day included in the stay. This area is quite big, 3 pools (swimming, relax, kids), kid's entertainment area, bar. In the same building, you have bowling, pool billiard and table football options for a reasonable fee. Fitness room, quite big, available including a wall climbing area. A simple restaurant with pizza option is also here. During winter time, outside ice skating court, skate renting available. - there is also an event hall where the Sylvester party was organised. - the location is also great, ski resorts e.g Donovaly is close, but also a bigger city (Ruzomberok) is just 15mins drive away. Surrounding nature, beautiful, good walking, tracking, cycling options. Close to the wellness building even a sledge hill is available. (if there is snow)

We were in a 2 bedroom house and two minor things to note: - pillows were a bit too hard and big, but by removing the small one, it was fine - sound isolation in bedrooms is very weak. If somebody is speaking normally in one, you can clearly hear in the other.

This was our very first family vacay with our 10 months old baby and truly it was an experience we will always remember 🙂 literally we spent all our time in the resort area with: lot of fun in the swimming pool, on the playground, big sleepy sessions, eating amazing food together and wandering around the beautiful scenery. Thanks for everything, we loved it! ❤️

- Very clean, quiet location, beautiful views, great facilities and adorable cottages. - The pool was perfect temperature - We enjoyed the bowling alley and my son especially had fun in the kids play area. - Breakfast and dinner was always a good variety and delicious. - The cottage had everything we needed and the bed was really comfortable.

- The kids pool was a bit cold, my son wanted to go back the to bigger, warmer pool after about 5 minutes, even though he wanted to play. - There was an extremely rude (older gentleman) lifeguard who rolled his eyes at me and told me I'm in Slovakia, I need to speak Slovak; when I explained I speak English. Being that this is an international booking service, staff must surely know that people from anywhere in the world could visit.

The cottages are beyond cute, the Resort definitely has a Fairytale vibe. The wellness area is very nice.

The staff (except one manager) doesn't speak English and fail to share any information, not even the basic ones. The hotel info brochure is just in Slovak. The tips were also misguiding, we were recommended to take a walk along the hill, just there was actually no trail back. One BIG disadvantage, independent from the hotel, is the massive Road construction and the resulting tremendous queue at Donovaly, which easily takes 2-3 hours to pass!!!! (by 2023 Autumn-Winter)

Great place for families, our dog loved it there too. Daily entry to water world a great value. Whole area is very well looked after. You do need a car if you want to do walks and little trips to sledge for example. Amazing breakfast, but coffee was not good. Pizza from coffee late in the evening a bonus. Staff at reception very professional and friendly. Worth paying extra for late check-out.

Breakfast coffee was bad. Water world crowded on Saturday, but shows it’s popularity.

The food was excellent (breakfast and dinner). Staff was friendly and polite, and always helpful. The cottage was amazing, clean, comfy, with all the necessary amenities. Quiet and beautiful surroundings.

The building/facilities of the swimming pool only opens at 14h00 during weekdays

Ideal place to stay in winter: beautiful, comfort, good location, tasty food.

I was surprised with the number of additional payments: ice rink, children's corner - everything have to be additionally paid. It was strange and unpleasant for me, as for the guest of the property

Cottage was great. It had everything we needed for a short stay. Swimming pool was also great. Food for breakfast and dinners was delicious.

Person at the bar near swimming pool either had a bad day or would require education how to treat customers.

Beautiful little fairy tale village in scenic surroundings with fantastic facilities and quite good food. There is even an EV car charger for free. Perfect for family vacations. We are already planning to return and take friends as well.

Our second stay here and we'd definitely come again. Lots of places of interest and unlimited hiking possibilities. Always friendly personel and amazing views.
