I wanted an old world spa experience, and this was perfect. This spa has old world charm with modern comfort. Half board included an excellent dining experience. I'm a vegetarian, and often great dining experiences for most fall short for me. Not this time. The vegetarian entrees were innovative and delicious. I just loved the easy-going elegance of taking tea or soaking in the thermal pool. All the pools are relaxing and surprisingly, they are not overcrowded. The spa is on an island which provides a park-like environment. I highly recommend staying here.

This is not a dislike, but if you go, you need to enter the spa from a little seen turn off on the bridge. I crossed the bridge thinking the left turn was immediately after and had to backtrack.

The Hotel and Spa were absolutely lovely and I would totally recommend and also return here myself. It's a bit pricey but it also offers a lot of services. We stayed for 2 nights and also paid a bit extra for late check-out (which is until 6 pm, that's great!). Breakfast was good, dinner was good, they do special breakfast requests with mini menu at the table for no extra cost if buffet is not to your liking. Dinner is accompanied by music. We came here for a birthday and they made it very special - with song from staff, decorated table at dinner time, cake with a candle and bottle of prosecco in the room. We also got free welcome drink card at the bar and two drinks at cute Xmas market they have right outside the hotel. SPA is also lovely, they have thermal outdoor pool and normal swimming pool indoors, jacuzzi and 3 saunas. You can get towels and sauna-sheets right at the entrance to this SPA/relaxation zone. We tried massage (great) and interesting combination of "glass/thermal bath" and "mud bath". Mud one was so hot, but also unique experience, was fun. Premises are old villa/castle inspired and well kept, looks beautiful. Staff is very kind and friendly.

The only somewhat of an item would be very loud air-conditioner/warmer during winter in our room. I'm not sure if the sound came from bathroom or bedroom. In the living room it was loud, but around 6.30-6.50 am it would switch on and if you are a light sleeper might keep you up. I think this is only because our room was last on the wing, I doubt this is an issue in other rooms. (room was great otherwise, spacious).

The hotel has excellent spa facilities in a beautiful location, within walking distance of the town centre of Piestany.

Some staff speak little or no English, I find this unacceptable for an international five star hotel. Older members of staff who do not speak English and are unwilling to learn it, should be replaced by younger members of staff who can. This caused embarrassment in particular whilst trying to view and book a treatment slot for the mud pool

Rooms are very spacious, with a high ceiling and a lot of space around the bed and in the bathroom. There is a nice balcony with a nice view on the both sides of the hotel. Restaurant service is high standard. Pools area is nice and clean with a relaxing atmosphere.

There is a poor service in the spa area where all the treatments are. I got one treatment. When I went inside there were no one from personnel. I was wandering around without any help or directions. After 20 minutes I just went away without a treatment. If may sound that I did not manage to find spa reception, but it is not the case. I went back to spa reception and said that there are no one at the mud pool or mirror pool. And they said, that probably employee had left. I was disappointed. It was the main reason to come to this hotel, but organization is relatively poor.

Staff is exceptionally friendly, helpful and keen to please. Nice cafe with tasty snack. Nice looking building and surroundings. Large, most comfortable beds ever and great blanket. Gym is very well equipped.

Breakfast is not quite the choice and quality you'd expect for the price. Lady at the entrance of the breakfast restaurant checking for a very long time whether we are on the list or not.... really annoying, then directing us to a table that was not prepared, did not get prepared after us waiting for a while, so we had to go back and ask for cutlery and the rest. Very little place for cars at the parking in front of the hotel

Its a beautiful property and grounds and everything is nice and clean

For a 5 star i was expecting the food to be higher quality. Breakfast was basic and dinner below standard. The massage treatments were not as we expected either- not as professional as we imagined.

We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of the Palace. The grounds are nice and enjoyed walking the paths to other gardens, little shops, and cafes, etc. I had high hopes for this as I booked online prior to our trip. I will say that there was another spa we randomly went to on our trip prior to our stay here, which contributed to comparing, as the Palace was significantly more expense than the other. Overall though, it was lovely and would maybe stay again, or come just to use the facilities. The staff was kind and helpful and it was easy to book spa appointments the day of.

It was a bit difficult to find at least from the directions provided by google maps. You have to turn while on the bridge which is kind of hidden and you're not really expecting - which I was not understanding. After a few trips back and forth on the bridge we finally figured it out.

Service, cleanliness, spa, mud bath, all other procedures. Beautiful spa, the outdoors pool was heaven. Free all you can pour Prosecco for breakfast; welcome drink; chocolate at turndown where refreshing touches. The softest robes you wear all day long.

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The location is beautiful surrounded by parks and nature. The hotel is pet friendly and our senior Pup loved the location, everyone was so sweet to her and they even brought a large super comfy dog bed up to the room for her that she loved! The room was beautiful and the balcony had an amazing view. The staff was amazing and very friendly! Loved the live violin and piano during dinner, very skilled musicians! We will definitely be returning! It was a very relaxing, enjoyable experience.
