Large comfortable room.

Hotel is located on the edge of a pedestrian zone. Parking is difficult. You need to retrieve access card from the reception to gain access to neighboring hotel's parking lot. You then need to return the card back to reception. Reception is only rarely staffed, you need to arrange for check in and check out in advance.

We did not know where to park when we first arrived at the hotel, which was further complicated by the fact the hotel was located in a pedestrian only zone of the main street in old town. The hotel's owner, Jan, immediately came out to meet us after I rang the main bell while my husband was driving around the block. Not only did Jan quickly secure parking for us, he also helped us get settled into our room. The room itself exceeded our expectations. It was more of an apartment minus a kitchen - immaculate, spacious, and comfortable. All the staff in the hotel was friendly and accommodating. Complimentary breakfast at a time of our choosing was an added bonus.

It would be nice to have blackout curtains in the 2nd bedroom. The lights from the street are very bright.

We were welcomed by a smiling lady at the hotel with a lot of hospitality, the room was spacious and clean. We welcomed a large comfortable bed, plenty of storage space and a refrigerator in the room. The hotel is tastefully furnished with a focus on the detail of art nouveau and art deco elements, we felt very comfortable in this beautiful space. The staff was always accommodating and helpful.

The property is at the center of the city, which is an amazing location. It is very peaceful and the staff are very kind and helping. Overall our stay at City Hotel was amazing 🩷
