It was our second stay in this beautiful family run Penzión. Everything was excellent, the staff remembered us and welcomed us back which was very nice. We had a bonus spa access this time, it was a nice surprise. The spa area is actually very nice and big with a nice jacuzzi and two different sauna, and a nice relaxing area. The room was very spacious and clean. The breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend this accommodation for people who want to relax, they also have a really good restaurant with a beer garden so you don’t need to go to the city.

Everything was excellent

Everything was great. For a one week stay, for work, it is more that enough. Big room, good bed( it could be a little softer, but it's fine), good breakfast and also good restaurant for diner. There is a big parking place inside, so you don't need to worry about not finding a spot. The waitress in the evening was very kind. I will probablly have another week in July there for work and i am going to choose the option with spa.

The shower is a little small for me and i would imagine for most people. It could have been bigger, considering the bathroom is huge. But, it is not a deal breaker.

We loved absolutely everything about this place. Fantastic owners, extremely kind staff, incredibly good food, and cleanliness everywhere throughout the facility. And let's not forget the great beds and stunning atmosphere. To summarise- this place is a gem. You will definitely love it and feel welcomed as if you just came home. I have travelled the world and stayed in the most luxurious hotels, but this place was another level of love at first sight.

It’s a very beautiful, cosy, family run place. The house and its garden is very beautiful, the restaurant in the building it’s super nice. The food at the restaurant and also the breakfast is excellent here, it was one of the highlights of our stay. The room is specious, with a tiny balcony. The bed is very comfortable. The place was very clean. The small pool in the garden was a nice surprise. The owners are super nice and honest people. All the staff and the owners are polite and friendly.

A small staff takes care of this homey, rather new build, owned and operated by a charming local couple. You can acquaint yourself with a pictorial history of Piestany along the terracotta tile hallways. There’s also a cherished library of hand books documenting the recent discoveries of ancient relics in the area. Immaculate rooms with pleasant bath accessories; a welcoming kettle and generous assortment of herbal teas. A terrace, nice bedding, a large, warm jacuzzi and a few saunas await your leisure. The on-site restaurant offers a pleasing, varied dinner menu, and prepares a generous assortment of everything tasty and satisfying you might expect at a European breakfast buffet. It’s a long walk to Piestany :-) so fuel up and be sure to ask for the short cut, through the field, to the sanatorium area...but that's another story.

I don't recall a thing I didn't like. I could have used an extra pillow but I never asked... And, since I never did see a local bus, I would rather have reserved a pick-up from/to the train station. Now that I know how it works, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or return. Lovely to meet you all. Thank you all so much for your hospitality!

During my brief one-night stay at Penzion Tematin, I was swept away by the wonderful experience provided by this family-run hotel. However, it was the wellness section of the hotel that truly stood out for me, with its diverse offerings that left nothing to be desired. I indulged in everything available, from the infrared and Finnish saunas to the unique option of having music play in the infrared sauna—a creative touch that amplified the relaxing experience. The quality extended to the dining area as well, with delicious dinner served in generous portions and a satisfying breakfast to start the day. I was also pleased with the ample parking facility, a practical convenience that added to the ease of my stay. Overall, this hotel managed to exceed my expectations in every way, leaving a lasting impression that I won't soon forget. Whether it's the quality of the rooms, the exceptional wellness facilities, or the friendly staff, this hotel offers tremendous value for money and is a place I'd gladly recommend to anyone looking to explore Slovakia.

This has been the third time i stayed in this hotel. I really like it. The staff is really nice, the food is nice, free parking and quiet.

If they could do something with the WIFI signal, would be great. I would rate it, now, around 6.

The hotel wins in many ways by the hospitality of its staff: such a friendly attitude and willingness to help you rarely meet. Very nice little spa included in the price. Accommodates a maximum of 8 people, has a jacuzzi, 2 saunas, an ice water barrel, contrast foot baths and a relaxation area. Pre-registration is required, which is carried out at the reception. Separately, it is worth noting the hotel building itself: entourage, entangled in ivy - very beautiful. The view of the mountains will also be a plus.

the receptionist(probably also owner) is very friendly, also the hostess in the restaurant are very friendly and helpful. The whole hotel is with a family atmosphere. I enjoyed it a lot. Room itself is very clean and with a small balcony. the food at the restaurant is very good and with a good price!!!

We werent able to rent bicycles, I am not even sure if they offer this service. 'the wellness area are only opens from 5-9 pm.

Very comfortable room and bed. Spotlessly clean, peaceful and quiet. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful small spa which the owner organised for me at short notice. Very kind host's, he even gave me a lift to Tematin when I arrived on Sunday and the restaurant was closed. Very enjoyable stay, I hope to return in the summer with my bike.
