Špica is a small hotel, with clean and well lit rooms. Room is carpeted, with enough cupboard shelf space, small refrigerator (mini bar type), safe, desk and small TV. Bed was large and comfortable. Bathroom and toilet were separated, and very spacious. Bathroom was as big as bedroom (design choice due to slanted roof and ceiling in the bathroom), so the shower in the corner looked really funny and small, although it was of regular size with great water pressure. Massage bathtub was a smaller one, for a single person. All in all, very satisfactory. Breakfast was of buffet type, with large choice of very tasty food. Hotel also has a restaurant that serves pizzas, but I strongly suggest you to go for excellent a la carte menu. Location is close to the train station, across the street from the supermarket. Now, hotel is located between main road and rail tracks, so some of the reviewers mentioned noise. Our room was on the back side of the hotel, looking towards the rails, but even with open windows passing trains were not really noticeable. We did not have any problems sleeping. In addition, silicone earplugs are provided in the room. Hotel is located some 500m from the Thermana pools and Spa, and yo can walk through the park or by the river to reach it. Hotel provided us with 20% discount vouchers for the Thermana Spa and Rimske Toplice - pols and spa in next village down the road. Staff was friendly and helpful. During the day, they are usually concentrated to the restaurant, but we waited only a minute to check in. WiFi was good, and it is of a type where you have to log in via opening a web browser. It would log out your device if not used for a while, and then you have to log in again by opening the web browser. Confusing at first, but it works fine once you get the idea.

We were very glad to have booked our stay at this hotel. In fact, we said to Tomaz the manager that we would love to take it everywhere we travelled. The welcome and service was very helpful and friendly. Every question answered in detail. Useful advice offered at every opportunity. Parking on site was very convenient. The room more than satisfied our needs. Clean and comfortable, it included a spacious bathroom with a spa bath as well as a shower. The toilet and bidet were in just inside the door in their own space and came with underfloor heating. It was almost like a sauna in there. 🤭 The food and beverage included regional dishes and good quality wines. Guests received discounted pricing - the prices are more than reasonable before discounting - and the service again is friendly and professional. It was a pleasure being a guest at this hotel.

The breakfast was fit fror the hotel, the server also regulary asked any guests if they need anything from the kitchen, like some more fried eggs etc. Parking was easy to find and next to the hotel, the room and the hot tub in the bathroom were more that exceptional for us. Staff was friendly and informative, kind. The food from the restaurant however was next level, truly some of the best food we ever ate.

Everything was up to standard and exceeded them.

Behind the rather eccentric entrance we found a modern, welcoming lobby. Everything was carpeted and very clean. The extremely helpful reception desk stood out. Lasko's dining options are very limited and the animated restaurant/pizzeria downstairs rescued our evening. Easy free parking,too.

The rooms are on the small side but comfortable and with easily controlled heating/aircon.

Everything was just perfect: from the check in to the check out. You are greeted with a big smile, and leave with a big "thank you" :) Located a few steps from the railway station. Friendly polite and helpful receptionists. The room was immediately clean, with a comfortable mattress and pillows, bathroom with heated floors. Abundant breakfast, hot and cold local food. Tasty herbal and fruit tea. Thanks again, my stay was perfect!!

Some noise from the trains, but personally it didn't really disturb myself.

Passed this hotel before, decided to stay. Definitely worth, next to station supermarket & excellent on-site restaurant. Friendly staff, clean, comfortable room even though I was in a road side room. Nice filling breakfast with staff happy to tweak stuff as needed.

I'm really struggling to find anything -ve, so I'm not going to bother, Lovely hotel in a lovely town & worth staying a night of 2 here.

The hotel is in an excellent location. Only two minutes walk from the train station. Very close to the river and a supermarket. The staff are friendly. Mr. Tomas at the reception was very helpful. The view from my room was beautiful. The restaurant is very good

The breakfast is served at 7.30 am which is very late for me. The WiFi is weak sometimes and every time you return to the hotel you have to reconnect again

The location is by the train station, plenty of free parking too. The rooms are clean - although small. The TV is also small. The breakfast was filling and plenty of options including eggs, sausages, pastries and cereal items. They also catered for a VEGAN breakfast (Requested in advance) and they made a good effort. This is a 3 star hotel. My room has a stunning view of the castle btw!

Rooms were fairly small, and bar shut at 10pm - but this isn't a city.

The receptionist Tadeja is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a beautiful location, close to Thermana Laško and the Rimske terme. The room is very clean, the bed comfortable. The food in the restaurant is excellent. Very nice place to stay, will definitely come back.

The breakfast was excellent. Diverse and delicious. Тhe location was perfect right in the center. Nature is beautiful. for walking, for cycling, for enjoying peace and quiet. Recommendation for staying in the place and in this charming hotel.
