Charming property in a nice locality. Martin is a good host, conjures up a delicious breakfast. Relatively accessible to CBD and waterfront with a car.

It was not an issue for us, but people relying on public transport may find it hard to get around. Breakfast, though tasty and healthy, could do with some variation.

The area where the hotel is located is beautiful. It’s about 10 km / 15 minutes with car to the City. The same to the airport. If you have a car , then this is a top place to stay without any doubt. Cape Town city and the area are fully car friendly, so you have no problem to find parking places. I strongly recommend to rent a car to reach any place you want to go very easy and comfortable. It’s a tiny boutique hotel, I guess around 7 rooms. The room, the bed, is absolutely good. in the room you have also refrigerater, hot cup, Microwave, fresh water, tea coffee, etc. . Full info flyer where to go , how, etc. Even you can order something to eat or nearby is a small shopping mall ( 8 Minutes by walk ) where you can eat or buy something to prepare yourself at the hotel. Cleaning is done every day. laundry service is also available. I could write and write, it wouldn’t be enough to inform you how nice this boutique hotel is. maybe one thing to complain, the door to the toilet was old and not well done ( A sliding door ). Martin , the owner is so friendly and helpful ( he is also preparing breakfast) . I guess if you would have some complaints and Martin couldn’t fix it , he would pay you the rental price back. But there are nearly no complaints to find.. If Cape Town and a car and you are looking for a nice boutique hotel then this is absolutely no 1.

What a gem! Needed a few extra days in Cape Town and found this lovely house. Beautiful garden and pool accessed easily from our room. Everyone was so friendly and we felt at home. Superb breakfast with fruit and eggs cooked to order and great coffee. Hope to go back another time. I’ll certainly recommend!

Nothing! Even had my washing done whilst staying at a very reasonable price.

Had good contact with owner Martin after making the booking and he arranged a shuttle from and to the airport for us, the driver was waiting at the airport when we arrived and on time the next morning too, excellent ! Martin greeted and showed us around upon arrival, the room was very nice and clean and we had a good night sleep. The breakfast was very nice and tasty as well ! All in all we had a good and comfortable stay and Martin proved to be an excellent host !

- Very friendly and helpful owner Martin who successfully went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable - we much appreciated - Nice rooms with comfortable beds and large bathroom - Wonderful garden in front of the room with a nice (but small) pool to go for a swim in the morning or to relax when coming back from Cape Town sightseeing - Excellent breakfast with large selection and excellent coffee, e.g. fruit salad, scrambled/ fried eggs with tomato, brown bread, cereal/muesli and much more... - Upon request, we got gluten-free bread for breakfast - including a special bag to toast the gluten-free bread in a normal toaster with contamination of the gluten-free bread - that was great! - Cheap airport transfer to Cape Town International airport

- Pinelands is a short drive by car to get to Gardens / Seapoint View etc. but due to the motorway it was not a big problem for us - If the B&B is fully booked and all guest have their own car, there are not enough parking spaces on the premises but parking is possible on the public road and as it is a side / secondary road it is not a problem from my point of view

I liked the calmness of the area where the manor is located. I loved the proximity to the airport. I would however advise people looking for an area close to the city centre that this wouldn't be ideal as of the distance and cab fares. Other than that, great place to stay.

I think the host can play around with breakfast for his guests. I found the breakfast so repetitive and boring. It was tasty but it got tiring of eating the same thing every morning.

Great breakfasts and very friendly helpful staff. Martin and his wife go the extra mile. Have stayed here several times now for a few weeks at a time and they make me feel at home. Highly recommend this establishment.

Great stay! Martin is a super host. Very convenient if you need to be close to the airport. The room was very comfortable and clean, with lots of space including a nice relaxing balcony. Kettle, fridge, microwave and some cuttlery provided. Great attention to detail. The breakfast is great! I definitely recommend it and will come back when I have to stay close to the airport!

The property has a great location. There is a retail area not far from the property with restaurants, grocery stores, and lots of other retail stores. The property is close enough to the center of the city. You can get an Uber and be downtown in just a few minutes. Martin was very helpful in sharing information about the area. Breakfast was great 💯.

From the time I booked the communication with Martin was excellent, friendly & informative, all requests were dealt with in a very kind manner. We ordered dinner & refreshments, the three different meals served were wonderful, taste of home-made and good quality ingredients, the beer was cold as requested!! Scrumptious breakfast! delicious fresh fruit, well plated main and good coffee! The garden is fun, full of interesting plants, plants & squirrels, a lovely space to relax. Our garden room was delightful, comfortable & clean & well organised for load-shedding.
