A beautiful guesthouse with great staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Lovely crisp bedding in a well sized bedroom.

The parking is on a first come, first serve ~ so I had to park on the street. The location was different from what was advertised , so there was no pool. The owner messaged me beforehand to tell me that the location is still in Pinelands but ay another address. I was perturbed, but all turned out well in any case. The listing is still to be updated on booking.com.

Our flight was advanced so we found this last-minute nice place for that first night. We arrived at midnight but we were welcomed and given all the best attention since we arrived. The breakfast next day was so nice and homemade. After the checkout we had to work remotely and they let us stay until the afternoon in the dinning room and even offered us some coffee and pastries. We are so thankful for their kindness. They are wonderful. Thank you very much!

I enjoyed my stay at the B&B. Tony and Marieka was the perfect hosts and added to the overall lovely experience. The room/unit was spacious, beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you might need. Perfectly located in a quiet, relaxed area where I felt safe as a solo traveller. Not to forget, the breakfast was so good and tasty. I would highly recommend this establishment and will definitely go back next year!

The house is in a very green and quiet place, with a garden around. very clean and big room. the car parking inside. not far from the airport.

The house is not the same like in the photo. Two days before our arrival the owner informed us that they moved in another place (not very far). so.. working in progress, no kitchen, no swimming pool ecc. for us it wasn't essential but it is not fair.

I loved everything about Applegarth. Everything about my stay at Applegarth was amazing, The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. I really appreciate how they went out of their way to make sure I had a comfortable stay and made me feel at home. Applegarth is so peaceful and queit. The entire hotel service package was amazing. The hosts (Tony & Marieka) were very nice & friendly and took great care of us. Their policy is delivering excellent service, which was well-executed. The ambience was great, with very clean accommodations with gardens where one can relax and enjoy the Cape air and braai. There is a lovely swimming pool, so those who may want to cool off can jump into the clean pool at this place. You will have safe parking and well-secured accommodation in a safe location. In addition, there is a good wifi connection which will ensure that you are always connected with your loved ones while on vacation. The place is conveniently located, close to Cape Town CBD, and closeby to the area of Pinelands; there is a shopping centre where one can buy stuff or ask the great hosts (Tony & Marieka) for advice - they will ensure that you are comfortable. Host and his wife were warm and welcoming. Very friendly couple. The property looks great, I booked it for my brother who came to Cape Town and I went to check it out before he arrived. My kids and I ended up booking our breakfast with them during my brother's stay!

There's nothing to hate.. Beautiful place in a quiet neighborhood. My brother enjoyed his stay. He was impressed with everything.

Applegarth is a gem of a spot located fairly close to the airport, which was really convenient for us. Tony and Marieka were amazing hosts and made us feel so welcome. They really went the extra mile for us in spite of a very late arrival. Breakfast was lovely, and the room more than met our expectations. Safe parking was also a huge plus for us. The bed was comfy, and the room was well equipped.

Very friendly and helpful hosts!!! Very spacious room with clean and modern bathroom. Very quite neighbourhood, good location to use as a basis to visit Cape Town by car. Big swimming pool in a pleasant garden. Although we didn't order breakfast, the hosts offered us very nice coffee.

Furniture in the room was a bit old fashioned, carpets in the room are not our cup of tea.

Lovely guests, wonderful quiet residential area, private parking lot, beautiful garden with pool and nice places to lay down, rest and read. Like being at home, with people welcoming you with a smile when you are back! Perfect localisation :close to airport, downtown and wine estates. A place you want to come back!
