We had the pleasure of staying at Elton in Cape Town, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality. The apartment is beautifully decorated, with a perfect blend of modern comforts and local charm. It’s spacious, clean, and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The location is exceptional, just a stone's throw from some of the best spots in Cape Town. We loved being able to explore the city with ease, knowing we were returning to such a comfortable and peaceful stay. I can’t recommend this stay highly enough! Whether you're here for a short visit or a longer stay, Elton in Cape Town is a perfect home away.

I was visiting my mother who lives locally and found Sue’s accommodation on the internet... every now and then one comes a little gem and Elton is certainly one of them! Our stay at Elton was excellent and Sue made sure that everything was just perfect… from dairy free milk right down to vegan soap. A delicious fruit salad with yogurt for breakfast out the veranda with a rusk. The attention to detail was exceptional and a different take on what one normally expects in a B&B, and this is what make Elton stand out from the rest I would recommend you stay at Elton...you won’t be disappointed!

This place is highly recommended for a single person or a couple. The area is quiet and the accommodating were well secured. Our vehicle was parked under proper undercover parking and close to our room. Sue is a excellent host. The place is well looked after. The room is very comfortable and elegant and up of high standards. The garden is beautiful and we had our breakfast on the porch looking out on her beautiful garden. We will surely visit again.

Very close to the Vincent Pallotti hospital, therefore very convenient. The room was 100 percent. You really do not need more. The pricing was very affordable for what you are getting. Aircon, lovely bedding, chocolates, water, there was even soap and shampoo in the bathroom! The parking for the vehicle was safe and off-street behind a gate. The area was very quiet, so we had a good night's sleep. I really think Sue can really consider upping her price!!

What an incredible find! Our stay at this Mowbray, Cape Town B&B was a delightful surprise. The room was beautiful, situated in a secure neighborhood where we felt very safe all the time. Parking was behind the host's car in the same driveway, but posed no inconvenience at all. Everything we could wish for was provided in the room, and the breakfast of fresh fruits, yogurt, and cereals was a fantastic start to our days. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Communication with the host via WhatsApp was seamless, and the location was perfect for both accessing Cape Town's center and the airport. Plus, it was excellent value for the quality received. Highly recommended for a comfortable and well-located stay in Cape Town!

We only stayed for 1 night but the room is just what we needed after a long days travel. Extremely clean and comfy. The location was perfect for our needs. 20 min to the airport and 20 min to the waterfront. Our minivan could fit easily in the driveway with easy access at any time. The room is annexed from the house and privacy is not an issue. Thanks Sue we will be back

The location was perfect for my meeting the following morning which was in Cape Town. Breakfast was Continental lovely fresh fruit and yoghurt. A very quiet location.

What would’ve made it even better would have been a cafetiere and fresh coffee in the room. For several small bottle of milk in the fridge would’ve been really appreciated. UHT milk was provided

Neat, clean, welcoming, beautiful, warm, cozy, a definite space to return to. Sue was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, it was so homely and comfortable it was a beautiful stay that was far too short, I wished we had booked for longer. It is an absolutely gem. The best stay for a perfect staycation.

Absolutely everything was perfect!

The room was so lovely and clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The room is exactly as the pictures described. There were multiple different crockery provided (plates, bowls, cups) as well as utensils. There is a microwave, cutting board, kettle etc., everything you might need to make a small meal. Breakfast of cereal and fruits were offered as well as coffee and milk. This experience was over and above of what I expected!

A small but perfectly equipped, cosy room with little patio. Very good self catering option and ideal for solo travellers with a car (I don't know how it would be with public transport). Nice and quiet area. Baxter Theatre Centre and Irma Stern Museum only 20 mins away by foot. Host Sue is a very nice person and will answer all your questions. Very appreciated: the bord friendly garden!
