My wife and I loved everything about the House of Braganza. It was a little rainy on the day we were checking in and we were going to visit Boulder Beach earlier in the morning, we asked to leave our luggage in our room at the house somewhat earlier and Henobi couldn't have been more accommodating. Osanah and Mr Braganza greeted us and helped us with our baggage. Their house is beautiful, very near a quiet white sand beach and has everything you would need for your stay. Our room was quiet, our bed huge and comforting!! A luxury énsuite bathroom with a fantastic hot tub. Henobi, our host was there every morning to take care of our breakfast needs. Henobi lends so much vibrant energy and brightness every morning, such a lovely and knowledgeable person to talk with, and no wonder.... She lives in what I would describe as one of the most beautiful and peaceful areas I've ever been to in the world. That alone would imbibe you with energy. Honestly we were sad to leave this wonderful home. It's perfectly positioned to launch from to explore the cape. The costal drive from the House of Braganza via Hout Baai towards Cape Town is absolutely jaw dropping, so you have to be careful keep your eyes on the road while driving!! There was so much more to see but it was soon time to go home. Thank you Henobi for hosting the perfect place. Definitely we will come to stay at House of Braganza again....

Honestly one of the nicest places we've ever stayed in on our travels. A beautiful room with a high thatched ceiling, enormous luxurious bed, a sea view (in the distance) and a gorgeous bathroom with walk in shower and his and hers sinks. The owner is so lovely and made us feel so at home - she left us a complementary bottle of red wine as well as very good rusks and some soft drinks in our fridge. She also made an excellent breakfast - high quality granola, fresh fruit and yoghurt, homemade vetkoek and bacon and eggs with toast. A two minute walk to the beautiful white sand beach and a 15 walk to the restaurants. I just wish we'd stayed longer!

We’ve had the most wonderful stay at the House of Braganza! Thank you Henobi! We stayed for over two weeks and would have loved to stay even longer. Very comfy beds and a beautiful view from the room. You can hear the ocean at night and the soft breeze through the windows is so nice and relaxing. We stayed with a small baby and were afraid we would be noisy or that the other guests in the bed & breakfast would complain, but it seems that the rooms are well insulated and sound-proof, so everything worked out just great. Whenever we had a question or needed help, Henobi was quick to reply and always tried her very best to accomodate us. She really pays attention to details, which makes you feel at home and taken care of :) We would LOVE to stay here again ♥️

In case you want more privacy you want to book both rooms 😄 Henobi’s place is very popular and therefore we had the chance to met a lot of interesting travelers from all over. We did not mind this at all (but perhaps others would).

Very neat and tidy. Amazing attention to detail. Extremely friendly, kind, accommodating and helpful host. Good breakfast and again, amazing attention to detail. We felt very welcome and well looked after!

We really had a good stay. But if we had to give some feedback: The shower was nice and hot, but the shower head spray was a bit chaotic. The bath towels are also perhaps getting a bit thin, so could be replaced at some point.

The location was perfect for our purposes; the host was friendly but not overly chatty, very attentive. The room was cosy and spacious with a distant view of the ocean. The bed was very comfortable with working bedside lights. Spacious en-suite bathroom with a door that closes. Proper block out curtains. There was complimentary juice, wine and coke and fresh milk. Access was easy. Excellent breakfast.

Henobi is an excellent host. You feel her care and personal touch on everything. You really feel like her personal guests rather than some hotel customer. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfasts were tasty. The common areas were beautiful. The location is great. It's a perfect driving distance to everything you may want to do in the peninsula. The complimentary wine was tasty!

Everything was exceptional. The owner is a lovely lady who will treat you like family. I fully recommend this place. The location is great too, close to the cape point, Muizenberg, and still not far from cape town itself where you can go via chapman's or constantia or take a faster road, whatever you prefer.

No such a thing

The location is ideal considering the general surroundings; short walk to the beach, beautiful views, 5min drive to Imhoff Farm with an amazing restaurant! Breakfast was absolutely amazing!!! Thanks to the our heroic host, Henobi! She is an absolute gem of a human being! I loved the vintage wooden décor and design, the fresh sea breeze sent from the Juliette balcony... It really exceeded my expectations.

This was an exceptional guest house experience! The breakfast offered a delightful variety, catering to all tastes. The location is unbeatable, just steps away from the beach, making it a perfect retreat for those who love the beach. The atmosphere is one of ideal tranquility, offering a peaceful and relaxing stay.

Everything was perfect

Lovely views from our window of the best beach in the area. Overall location was perfect, a very short distance to the beach, 10-15 minute level walk to the village with a range of good food options. Guest house was very well appointed with a seperate lounge area, small balcony and a pool.
