Our stay at Hout Bay Breeze was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were absolutely amazing – friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. They truly made us feel at home. The breakfast each morning was fantastic, with delicious, fresh options and attention to detail that made every meal special. We looked forward to it every day! And then there’s the view – absolutely amazing. Waking up to the stunning scenery of Hout Bay was a dream. Whether enjoying a coffee on the terrace or relaxing in the room, the surroundings were breathtaking. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend Hout Bay Breeze to anyone visiting the area. It’s a perfect blend of comfort, beauty, and genuine hospitality. We can’t wait to return!

While the area doesn’t make the best first impression when you initially drive in, it quickly improves as you get closer to the property. Despite the surroundings at first glance, Hout Bay Breeze is in a very safe and peaceful location, and we felt completely comfortable throughout our stay.

A truly beautiful place with an amazing position overlooking the mountains of Hout Bay. The rooms and beds were absolutely sparkling clean and so so comfortable. Big showers and bathrooms with tons of storage space for your cases and hanging for clothes. Amazing generous breakfast . Jeremiah the manager is a wonderful kind person and did everything to help . His team are also so good . Thank you

Was gorgeous

Friendly, helpful staff, stunning view, spacious room, bathroom with a tub, tea tray in bedroom, indoor parking, fantastic breakfast. Jeremiah made our stay extra special, he was on standby 24/7 and very enthusiastic. He was kind enough to bring me rooibos tea after my husband and I returned from our dinner.

We were a bit concerned about the location at first since we had to drive through an informal neighborhood to get to the lodge. But, Jeremiah assured us it is safe and won't be a problem to drive through at night when we head out for dinner.

We were so warmly welcomed and treated by Dee, Jeremiah and the rest of the staff - they are a special bunch of people! The room was very spacious and the bed is comfortable. The views are unsurpassed! We did have some trouble with electricity and water supply (being South Africa), but the house has solar and the staff made sure we had water. Breakfast was delicious!

The top balcony has such lovely views, so it would be nice to have some comfy chairs and shade up there. The location is on the hill just outside of Hout Bay and can be a bit noisy at night, although it wasn't too bad.

I booked at the last minute, but was still warmly received. The room and bathroom were very clean, but also gereously large and spacious. The view from the balcony on the first night was hidden by a significant rainstorm and a heavy cloud cover, but in the morning it felt like on stage the curtain had been raised and it presented a spectacular view. It was very peasant sitting outside and eating a really good breakfast served by attentive, friendly staff.

Nothing specific, and not the guest house’s fault, but the internet was a bit spotty in the evening. However, this is more of a South African problem.

The Superior King or Twin Room (the one with a sea and mountain view) provided a pleasent experience. The view, showcasing Chapman's Peak from Hout Bay, was amazing and could be enjoyed right from the bed. The staff were exceptionally cordial and kind, adding to the pleasant stay. While the quiet hours might be important to note before booking, they didn't pose an issue for us. The cleanliness and comfort of the place were great, and the pictures accurately depicted reality, making them reliable for future guests to rely on.

Amazing view. Spacious room.

Had to place kettle on floor under the desk to switch it on. Kettle cable too short for access to electricity plug. Power shortage bed lamp cable. Breakfast was fair and almost no fruit salad available but that could be due to only getting to the breakfast area after 9am.

The location is amazing with stunning views of Hout Bay. The staff are so incredibly friendly and very welcoming. All the staff are very accommodating and very helpful. The breakfast is amazing.

Better pillows for sleeping, but otherwise all good.

The breakfast was so delicious and we could have it inside or outside. Those that prepared the breakfast really know what they are doing. The location was beautiful and scenic. We had Sea View and mountain Views.

The garage upper parking bay was very steep

We really liked the structure itself and the sense of peace it transmits with its bright colours. The room was big and clean, with a very beautiful bathroom. The view from the hall terrace is just amazing and the breakfast was perfect with fresh products and a great variety. The staff was very kind to us and the place was really quiet and in a safe neighbourhood up the hill of Hout Bay. They even have a safe parking space.

Unfortunately the airco doesn't have the warming function so being there in May we felt the room was a bit chilled.
