Everything. The location is lovely, calm and with an incredible view upon the bay. The breakfast is very nice, it may not look a lot at first but everything is done to avoid as much waste as possible, so if you still need something or are hungry, just ask the staff and you will get it in no time. The place is calm, the breakfast room is quiet and very beautiful. The pool is also very good, shallow at the beginning for you GS kids and deep at the end (1.9 m or more) perfect for adults. Bedrooms are spacious, bathrooms too and very clean. And don't forget about the shower gel and shampoo that smell delightful but not strong. Ho and alongside the path, lavender, mint, rosemary and other plants are growing making the garden smelling good. Everyone is kind, lovely, always trying to help. We had an amazing stay and are very sad we had to leave. Highly highly recommend it!!!!

Everything. The venue was very aesthetically pleasing and everything was well thought out. The stafff were amazing and we were spoilt at breakfast time. Also a really nice hike close by through the forest.

Beautiful place with a unique and stunning design. Fabulous breakfast and some great recommendations for dinner. Nice pool area and rooms are lovely. Alphonso, Derrick, Yolanda and team at Umoya make this experience feel like home - what a gem.

Ask for a room with a view. Some rooms overlook the drive instead of the ocean so may be slightly noisy in the early morning but fine if you are an early riser.

It‘s a completely new facility with a beautiful architecture and location - a place you instantly feel comfortable and calm. The area allows you to explore different places in and around Capetown by car with the advantage of being able to completely relax and unwind. Big water tanks in the back of the garden and solar panels ensure a smooth stay - even during load shedding or pipe works. The rooms are light, spacious and equipped with valuable details. The staff is unbelievably kind and service-oriented. Especially Marko from the reception and Suzi from the Spa made our stay definitely one to remember. All of their efforts to ensure our happiness combined with their warm-hearted personalities really stood out for us. We would come back anytime! 10/10

We had the most wonderful stay at the Umoya Hotel. It’s a dream destination for a peaceful and relaxing getaway, nestled in the heart of stunning nature. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, always with a smile. The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was serene and inviting, making it easy to unwind and enjoy every moment. We can’t wait to return back!

Marco and his team provide the absolute best in service. Every hotel should be as fortunate to have staff like this. The breakfast was spot on delicious, beautifully presented and included an array of juices, fruits, yogurt, etc. The rooms are white, clean lines, with handmade Moroccan tile floors. My room had a view of the mountains and the bay. Bed and linens fantastic. The shower could not be any better! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Truly one of the most peaceful and relaxing hotels we've ever stayed at! The decor and atmosphere are sublime and have been so thoughtfully put together. It feels cosy whilst still feeling really elegant. Marko the manager is absolutely delightful, as are all the staff really. Breakfast was amazing- Eggs Benedict a must-try!

The only issue during our stay was the water turning off intermittently but I don't think the hotel can be blamed for that.

After check out I received a message from the manager asking me to pay for a linen spray which he assumed I took from the room. This put me off completely. I had a to send a video that I took as I checked into the room creating “content” to prove that I did not take the spray. While this gave me the peace of mind I needed, I was really disappointed at the accusation type tone he had. But besides this event, I really had a great stay.

The breakfast and first included a cold spread with yogurt, fruit, cereal, etc. The hot breakfast is selected the day before and prepared when we were ready. Staff was attentive and friendly!

The laundry service unfortunately shrunk and discolored some garments.

Such a wonderful Hotel. Alfonso was amazing. Always easy to find him if we needed anything at all. He was also very accommodating when we requested a late checkout. The breakfast was delicious. I would return to stay here again as the staff were so welcoming and the hotel is very relaxing.
