Well appointed room with good facilities and an excellent restaurant.

Whilst the staff were very friendly and generally helpful, I thought the service at breakfast was very slow and substandard. An example of this was on each morning I had to ask twice for coffee and it took between 10-15 minutes to arrive - not good in the morning! A lack of training or of supervision….

Everything was absolutely perfect. Understated elegance and luxury comes to mind. The minute you arrive , you feel special. From the glass of champagne to the warm smiles, we couldn’t have asked for a better welcome. We were celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary and having had our wedding at the hotel that many years ago, it was our first time back. We weren’t disappointed. We were given an upgrade to a gorgeous mountain facing room . Before being taken to the room, we were taken on a tour down memory lane and it was fabulous to see where we tied the knot. Still as beautiful. Wonderful delights awaited us in our gorgeous room: celebratory balloons, wine and other yummy treats. We had dinner at the Azure restaurant and again, a triumph. The seafood platter was ginormous and delicious, the service impeccable and ambience relaxed. The breakfast was the best I’ve had in a long time. There’s nothing they didn’t have. 10/10. All in all, we had the best anniversary - we could not fault it. Thank you so very much. We will be back.

The breakfast was outstanding in choices and in quality. All luxury food like oysters and champagne, salmon, patisserie confectionary, freshly squeezed juices and wonderful cheeses are served in buffet style whilst a hearty cooked breakfast can be ordered in the most beautiful patio setting the Cape can offer.

There was absolutely nothing we disliked. The attention to detail and the friendliness of the staff was commendable. They always remembered your name and the valet service wa particularly friendly.

We though the breakfast excellent. We thought supper at the cafe excellent. We thought supper at the Azure was quite pricey, especially the wine, and we would give the quality of the food 9/10. For example my wife had salmon, which was a bit dry [overcooked?] But care and service was excellent.

See above. My wife struggles to get in and out of a high bath and she struggled at room 416. We should have asked if you had a walk in shower room. Also the coffee machine leaked and I got water into the back of my phone. It was completely dead when we left. Fortunately, I dried it out and it now seeps to be working again.

Breakfast catered for all our needs, whatever we wanted. The location and views are breathtaking with the added bonus of a good view of a ship wreck. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and humorous. We enjoyed our stay so much we can’t wait to go back!

The temperature of the heated pool was still too cold to us. However there was use of heated pools in the spa. There is really nothing else to improve in my opinion.

The Twelve Apostles is a landmark property which borders the lower slopes of Table Mountain. The staff are professional and enthusiastic. Our lunch at Azure to celebrate two 80th birthdays was fantastic.

Our stay was in shoulder season and there were several events on at the hotel, one of which caused a disturbed night. The hotel is also on the road and the traffic has increased over the years.

Everything at the hotel was top tier: our room, the friendly staff(including housekeeping services), the restaurants, the food, the pool area, the spa, the perfect location and beautiful sea view were just amazing. The property exceeded our expectations, so we're definitely booking our next Cape Town stay there again.

Noise!! The hotel could definitely use some upgrades and renovations like double glazing in every sea view bedroom. While the view on the ocean is priceless the coast road traffic is endless too. And even when you close the doors/ windows you still hear the traffic.. this shouldn’t be the case for such a hotel!

Great Hotel. Stunning location with exceptional views of the ocean. Food was of high standard. Staff friendly, professional. Made use of the meeting room / board room facilities when receiving business guests during our stay. It was elegantly furnished, all our needs were looked after. 2nd time at the Hotel, will surely return. All in all a great stay and experience! Thanks to all the staff.
