The location was fantastic, the venue was quiet and had a potential of being a home away from home if it was well equipped to be a hotel or guest house. Security is shady, one has to rely on the maintenance boys employed there for safety. Our room was beautiful on our arrival but had no hangers and an unfunctioning aircon. The bathroom was big and airy but the shower was badly structured.

It was not setup for a guest house nor of a hotel. We stayed as a party of four females for 5 nights from Dec 29 to Jan 2.There was no prepared breakfast menu, we had to ask for it, and for R165 each person, the quality of the meal was a disaster, it not even match the cheapest wimpy or spur breakfast, looked like it was prepared by one of the maintenance boys. We had to constantly ask for towels every day and for cleaning the one family room we shared. There was no change of bedding that we could see. The aircon was not working for 2 days and the room was so hot and we had to insist on fixing the aircon. The owner was very nice and even bought a portable aircon however that was an unacceptable situation. The bathroom’s shower head was located near the end of the shower causing the bathroom floor to be filled with water then all the towels had to be used to contain and wipe the floor causing such an inconvenience. We had to also make sure we ask the for toilet paper to be topped up. There was no TV, no frdge, no tea/coffee, couch in the room. The place was not prepared for guests at all. We used the place as a place to sleep rather than a place to enjoy.

Luxury Room had no working Air-conditioner, the shower did not work and no mirrors in the bathrooms. No complimentary water/coffee/tea. No glasses to drink water. No clothes hangers in cupboard. No TV or couches/chairs for guests to relax.

I arrived at the property, there was no signage and after ringing the bell, called to ask for the gate to be opened. After a few minutes i sent a message asking whether i am at the correct gate, when it was eventually opened. I was met by someone who was not dressed in a manner you would expect from this establishment, given the rating it was given. Then i was asked to swipe R10 with my corporate card, followed by the R10 being offered to me in cash, which i declined and the person subsequently just put it in his pocket. The slip offered to me, reflected Winner Supermarket? How do i explain this as a corporate expense. My major concern was that i was the only guest there for the evening and I did not feel comfortable staying. I left and did not stay there. Trying to contact the owner was unsuccessful. I trust the money they did not trust receiving will be refunded.

Great location in Constantia

The building is old and lack of maintenance. Discussing toilets. Dirt rooms. Missing basic stuff that you don’t expect for a hotel. The worst I ever stayed.

EVERYTHING WAS BAD NEVER AGAIN AND IM GOING TO PUT IT OUT TO THE MEDIA TO MAKE SURE IT DOES NOT HAPPEN TO ANYONE ELSE
