We had a great stay at Gillian’s place. We booked last minute but there weren’t any issue. The room was big, well decorated and well equipped. The view from the balcony is incredible. The place is very safe and there’s a restaurant 5 min walking. The breakfast prepared by Gillian was very tasty and we had a nice chat with her in the morning. You can tell she pays attention to details to ensure her guests have the best stay. We only stayed one night but we would have been happy to stay longer in this amazing place. Thanks again!!

Jillianne is a very charming, informative and warm host. The house has stunning views across False Bay and back towards Simon’s Town. Jillianne’s dinner recommendation at Dixie’s (just down the road) was awesome. Her delicious home cooked breakfast and our conversation were lovely; really memorable. Just like home.

It’s not brand new, it’s lived in; very homely and welcoming. There’s nothing we didn’t like.

The guesthouse has a beautiful view of the beach and ocean, located on the slope. Room is cosy and all amenities (such as hair dryer, fridge, microwave) were available in the room. We went there with a rental car and car garage was available. It locates very close to one of the tidal pools and also some restaurants/ supermarkets.

The location is on the slope so it is better to use a car (it must be hard to walk up!). And it was super windy, although it must be seasonal. So it was much cooler than in Cape Town where we stayed just before.

The location and the view from the room were amazing. We saw an amazing sunrise while still in our bed and also a great for seeing the brilliant night sky (we were lucky with the weather on one day). Gillian was an amazing host and the morning breakfast prepared by her was so great! She also gave us great recommendations about things to do in and around town.

The Wifi was not working when we arrived and later when it worked the speed was slow. Also the MTN mobile network didn't have great coverage or LTE speeds in the room.

What a lovely guesthouse. The views. The room. The comfy bed. Gillian is a superb host - so attentive, polite and what a breakfast she cooks! I enjoyed using the light and airy communal area to catch up on work during the day - the views from the office were pretty epic that day. This place is conveniently located between Kalk Bay and Simon's Town where I ate at some superb restaurants. There's also a handy mini mall with two supermarkets, just a short walk away.

The view is amazing and definitely stands out in this one. But also the nice interior of all common rooms have a unique style and charme. There is a 🦜 that visited us during breakfast. The host was very kind and left no room for complaint. You can reach the tidal pool in a few minutes if you are keen to dip in the ocean during sun rise.

The Moonglow Guesthouse has a nice and cosy atmosphere with the most amazing views on the bay. We were very happy to spend two nights here on our roadtrip in De Kaap. The breakfast in the morning is the perfect start of the day, and the restaurant Dixies on walking distance of the guesthouse was a nice recommendation we received.

We enjoyed our comfortable stay at Moonglow. Excellent service and a good breakfast that keeps you for the whole day. Safe parking and good internet. Breathtaking views, shops nearby and lots to see and do in the area. It's definitely a place to go and stay over again.

The property is located on the hills in a peaceful neighborhood. It is a short driving distance to Simon’s Town. We enjoyed the view from the balcony at sunset. The hostess is very helpful if you need any recommendations or assistance during your stay. We felt at home. We also loved the very friendly dogs.

The location and view was amazing, and the bed was super comfy. Such a lovely home cooked breakfast with a good selection of continental elements and your choice of hot cooked options. Gillian was so helpful and even allowed me to keep my bags safe at the property after I had checked out while I was on a day trip.
