Friendly manager, who greeted us at the door. Our room was split level and had a great view from the balcony. There were two comfy sunbeds to use, complete with mattresses. Lovely breakfast with a great choice. The coffee was really good! The breakfast staff were attentive and also very friendly.We had a leaky basin in the bathroom, which was sorted out as soon as we mentioned it! Great service! We would definitely stay here again if we were in Simon's Town. The hotel is in a great location with far reaching views over the sea, just perfect!

The staff was very responsive and friendly. The family room was better than expected: huge, clean, all amenities, accessible and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and filling and the common space (restaurant, lounge and terrace) on the first floor was comfortable with an amazing view. The cost was affordable and worth every penny. The only thing is that it is very high up on the steep hill which was a little daunting!

There was no staff present when we arrived but luckily we got ahold of someone with the help of the neighbours!

This is a great place, with a great view over the bay at Simon's Town. I arrived a bit too early, nevertheless I received a great welcome. I could already check-in and leave my suitcase there while the room was made ready. I did not have time to enjoy some more hiking from there, but some of the routes to get to Swartkop or Simonsberg go nearly past the door.

It is a bit far from town, cafes, or restaurants, but if you don't mind walking (or driving) it can be nice walk (short ride).

A real home away from home. Exceptional views. Amazing and helpful and friendly staff (thanks Annie, Bornface & Cleo). Very accommodating and caring (new) owners and management (thanks Chris & Llewellyn). They went out of their way to help guests celebrate Christmas. So much effort. Really very special and truly appreciated (thanks May & Jack!)

The elevator is only used for luggage. No on-site after-hours staff to assist with emergencies.

Great place, with great view. Our room had a view of the ocean. We have received a complimentary bottle of wine. Room had a balcony with some chairs, where you can sit and look at the ocean. Really nice air con, though not really needed. Big bathroom with plenty of space, shower and bath. Great breakfast and very professional staff.

It is kind of high from the main road. May be an issue if you want to walk there.

The room is nice, big with beautiful view of the sea. The people are friendly. Breakfast eggs were to order and well made!

The lift was not working. So the luggage had to be hauled two floors up. The support staff was a lady, so I had to do the heavy lifting myself out of courtesy. Additional universal plug points/ extenders would help a bit.

The view is the main attraction . Both mountains and sea if you choose the loft or penthouse. Comfortable and private with a high standard of cleanliness and style.

Some minor details. Breakfast to include more local ingredients. To have a breakfast served that is not cold - as most are. Warm plates and good quality.

The view from the main bedroom was nothing short of incredible. It is really the reason to stay there. We had the king sea facing room. Woke up to the sunrise across the bay and it was a moment worth every cent.

The breakfast is very basic and the coffee was not great. But I would still go back.
