The design of the hotel is really very nice. It is trendy without being overly so. It is cosy and it is tasteful. The staff is helpful, kind and very professional ! The restaurant truly is very good ! It was a pleasure to have dinner at there. The food was super tasty and well presented. We are foodies so we thoroughly appreciated the quality of the food, the seasoning, and freshness of the ingredients. The hotel’s location is superb ; next to trendy shops where local art, crafts and products are on display. The hotel is walking distance from the penguins and from the beach !

Nothing everything was perfect !

Beautiful victorian hotel in the heart of Simon‘s Town. Our room had a huge balcony with views to the busy street and the baboons! The restaurant and breakfast room is very nice and cosy. The staff was extremely friendly, the breakfast à la carte delicious and the best coffee ever, like in Italy! We had dinner two evenings (10% discount for hotel guests) with a warm atmosphere and good food for a very reasonable price. We could park the 3 days and nights for free right in front of the hotel. Simon‘s Town is safe and it was not a problem at all with finding a parking space. The road is busy during the day, what makes it very entertaining. At night it was calm and we could sleep like a baby! I would definetely recommend this hotel to couples for a romantic stay in Simon‘s Town.

Everything was perfect!

We only stayed one night and didn't spend much time in the hotel or the room itself. In any case, the spacious terrace facing the street was great, from where you could watch the baboons going about their business in the evening. I think it's a good option in Simon's Town and I would probably stay there again.

The room seemed a little outdated, but somehow it suits the hotel and adds to its charm. As the restaurant is closed on Mondays, only a very basic breakfast was served (this could be mentioned in the description). The rooms are a bit noisy towards the corridor, but that wasn't a problem for us.

Location was excellent. We had the room with the balcony only issue is light comes in through blind. It was our honeymoon and staff ensured we had a great time and gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne which was greatly appreciated.

We were really looking forward to the breakfast eggs Benedict but this wasn’t on the breakfast menu for residents. A glass of water would also be nice at breakfast time. 10% discount in the restaurant doesn’t work anymore due to new ownership.

Quaint hotel in the centre of Simon’s town. We had a front balcony room, which was smaller than our previous hotel rooms, but the balcony was lovely and big and gave us extra space to chill out in. Excellent breakfast. No parking at hotel but free street parking, walking distance to penguins colony. Had dinner in fish restaurant over the road, was nice, but quite quiet. Staff friendly and helpful

Absoloutly Eveything: Put the Willits hotel on your bucket list! What an amazing experience! We were blown away by the hotels fabuous facilites, all the personal touches that made us feel so special, the exceptional rooms, gorgeous bathrooms, the creative and classy decor and the most delicious food at an incredible location. But most of all it was the friendly, warm and welcoming staff that made this experience totally unforgetable. From the moment we arrived to time we departed we were treated to the best service we have eperienced in all of our travels. Thank you Willets Hotel for a truly memorable stay. Cant Waite to come back!

A very comfortable stay in an historic building with modern facilities. The 42 steps to the attic room were a challenge for ageing limbs but well worth the effort. The downstairs area and adjoining courtyard were great places to sit for breakfast, lunch or a drink before going out for supper. The generous size of a slice of cake with afternoon tea was enough to mean it could be easily shared. The staff were most helpful and a pleasure to chat with. We were able to secure parking right outside as people left for the day and before the evening crowd turned up.

What a beautiful inviting hotel. It was our wedding day and arrived around 20h00pm where the staff member waited for us outside. Tendai welcomed us and saw to our needs before we settled in. We were greeted by the manager, Emmie, the next morning and congratulated us on our wedding. She surprised us with strawberries dipped in chocolate and had made a rose petal heart shape on the bed. This was so endearing, and we loved it. The breakfast was amazing. The staff, together with Emmie, are amazing. They made us feel welcomed and relaxed. Emmie is bubbly and passionate about her guests and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was memorable. The hotel is beautifully decorated inside and in the courtyard, and on Sunday, they had a pianist who filled the ating hall with soft and beautiful melodies. This created a relaxed atmosphere. Emmie made sure that we were informed about all the best spots to visit during our stay. We also felt safe and secure, and the hotel also has health care insurance, which is a big plus if we need it during our stay. We will definitely recommend this beautiful establishment to our family and friends. And YES, we will be back. We'll done Emmie and the team for making our stay memorable♡

The only thing that we would suggest is to have a spotlight on the name of the hotel as it is not visible during the night.

Great location, clean and close to everything. The staff were friendly and helpful and would definitely recommend.

The breakfast options were good, but the avo toast option was much less than the others. Coming home in the evening (9:30pm) everything was quiet and streets deserted. It was a little scary for us traveling women alone with kids. I would recommend to at least have some security there till 11pm.

Really lovely hotel with friendly staff, excellent restaurant. Perfect location.

Nothing serious. Unlimited coffee and orange juice with breakfast would be great. Preferred the old decoration that was more warm in the main room and the sofas at the entrance felt more welcoming. Double room at the back not really suitable for 4 adults, and locks feel flimsy, but hotel accommodated us.
