This hotel is a family run business and is very personal compared to a corporate large business enterprise. Elsa and Lisa made us feel like we were very welcome at their home. The hotel has a feeling of class and is very relaxed but professional. There is a large lounge and a self-service bar, a terrace overlooking the sea and a small private garden patio. Nothing was too much trouble and the hosts were ready to give advice and recommend local places to visit. The room was comfortable, with tea and coffee, water, a fridge and TV, hair dryer and shower gel, shampoo and lotions provided as well as large fluffy towels and even beach towels. Breakfast was excellent and served in the dining room with a perfect sea view. The hotel is in a great location with easy access to Boulders beach, Simons Town and Cape Point NP, but far enough from town that it was peaceful and quiet after dusk.

Nothing to complain about.

We had a beautiful sea view room. Both the bathroom and the bedroom were clean and well decorated. Breakfast was good and the waitrons really nice and friendly. They also made really nice cappuccinos. Hotel seems to be in a quiet location. We went out of season, so very few people staying, which was nice to get away from the hustle of tourists. This also means you have to drive to get dinner etc.

The carpets of the room are in need of an upgrade. The weather was cold when we stayed so one of us enjoyed a bath that evening. By the next morning, we had no hot water. The person that greeted us was pleasant and polite but could benefit from some hospitality training as she was very matter of fact. Once she had done her mental checklist of things she disappeared. Secure parking available but manoeuvring can be tight, so go with a small car ideally.

The rooms are super comfortable, making your feel right at home. The ocean view is something else, and waking up to watch the sunrise from the balcony is priceless. The hotel is right across the beach, if you manage to deal with the cold water - some locals enjoying the beach from sunrise. The breakfast options are simple, but super super tasty and more than enough. It was a delight to meet the owners as well. Lovely people!

Nothing relevant to be honest.

Elsa is a lovely host, the room with the sea view is amazing and right before the building there is a beach to swim. We were lucky enough during our stay to have a homecooked meal with a private concert. We felt privileged to be there at just the right time. If you are staying more then a few days in Cape Town. Consider coming here and combine it with cape point, and eating fish at fishhoek or houtbay.

We really enjoyed our stay. It is a lovely place, perfect for families, with cozy bedrooms, great breakfast, right next to the beach and we really appreciated the help of Elsa in making our stay a very comfortable one.

As a suggestion, there could be snacks in the honesty bar, which is a great idea and really well stocked in the drinks department by the way.

Breakfast was delicious and served looking over the sea. Very relaxing. The location is perfect. Property overlooks a smaller less crowded beach. 40minute walk from the centre of Simon's town. Stunning views from bedrooms and communal areas. Safe and secure with electric gate and staff always present.

Some of the property could do with a deep clean. Blinds and cushions in bedroom stained. Due to location outside town more difficult to get an Uber from here. Having a car to stay at this property would be more beneficial.

Amazing View Owner very hands on accommodating and friendly Homely feel Beautiful Hotel Swimming Beach right over the Road

Literally No WiFi or connection in the area No food deliveries to the area except one suggested who we couldn't reach on the phone bearing in mind that the hotel does not serve lunch or dinner, so if you didn't have a car you were stuck to get anything to eat. Just a Little attention to detail needed, no bin in the bathroom and didn't receive coffee pods everyday.

I can not say enough amazing things about our stay. We decided to try check in early and called to see if that was possible! Ricky was so welcoming and inviting and was ready to accommodate us! It is a beautiful property located just outside of Simons town so it is nice and quiet. there is a great beach just across the road and you can walk for miles down the road watching the ocean. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. the room was comfortable and clean and was tidied everyday. We had a beautiful ocean view and if it were not for the baboons we would have slept with the windows open. Yes there are baboons who like to make themselves at home if you let them. They had solar so we were never without power during load shedding. We ended up getting manis and pedicures in the spa area. The treatments were wonderful and so were the technicians. The place is a true gem and I can’t wait to go back asap!! Ricky took care of our every need (including laundry and ordering our pizzas 😆). And I feel like we now have an amazing new friend for life! I will definitely choose this as my place to stay whenever I’m in Cape Town!! ❤️❤️Breakfast were yummy too!

Only couple negatives were that the drive and parking is tight. And the internet is not great. We were able to figure it out by just using one device on WiFi at a time but I also believe that this problem is being addressed and shouldn’t be a problem in the future. The positives far outweigh the negatives in this place.

The views are impressive, and the little beach across the road is quiet and feels safe! It's tastefully decorated, the rooms are comfortable and we had a good variety of breakfast options to choose from each morning-we will definitely be back!
