Albatross House offered us with an amazing apartment including all necessary facilities and comfort we were looking for ! What was special was the breathtaking view across False Bay and Simons Town harbour from up above due to the higher up location of the apartment and the three balconies in front of each of the bed rooms as well as the living room! Our host Andre was extremely welcoming, always easy to get in touch with and hands-on. He also went out of his way to help us after we had forgotten our iPad in the apartment!

This is not specific to Albatross House - however due to security reasons we had to lock the apartment and garden twice from the 'inside' which we as Europeans are simply not used to... also: beware of Baboons when driving slowly, having your window open and food inside the car... ;)

Great location with a wonderful view, well appointed flat with everything you could possibly need and nice modern bathrooms. Good wifi reception and TV complete with Netflix access. Check in was easy and the owner even sent a video explaining exactly how to access the property as we were arriving late. The property also felt very safe.

Not much to complain about really. You should be aware that the property is on a fairly steep hillside and there are a few steep steps down from the road to the flat. Also the cleaner entered the property in the morning unexpectedly (at least for us). Wasn't really a problem, just a bit surprising that suddenly there was somebody in the flat. :-)

The view is sensational! The property is high up in Simon’s town, so you’re near the mountain and the view across the harbour and false bay is incredible! Most incredible mattresses, pillows and bedding. Beautiful well furnished apartment! Patio furniture, lovely couch, oven etc!

Lots of steep steps to get to the apartment - which can be a challenge. All steps had hand railings which helped!

The view was beautiful and it was very cosy. It was very close to all the suburban spots - Muizenberg/ Hout bay etc . Loved the view!! Sunset and Sunrises were beautiful. Andre was great and check in and out were super easy!

Nothing but I’m not sure the venue does breakfast as the listing says something about Breakfast.

The view from the terrace on Simonstown's harbour is exceptional. The house itself is very comfortable and well equiped: 2 rooms with their own bathroom. Ideal to accomodate a family of 4. Cape sugarbirds in the garden. Free parking in front of the house. Nice restaurants on the waterfront.

Just be aware that downtown is 2 km away. A car is very useful to drive up and down.

The view is absolutely outstanding. Very homy vibe inside the cottage. Excellent location close to Boulders Beach. André is an excellent host, very friendly and helpful. He served an excellent breakfast. This venue is highly recommended.

Very steep steps down to the cottage. It was difficult to get our luggage up and down.

Wow! What a beautiful place to stay. Lovely accommodation couldn't ask for more. Large spacious lounge with veranda looking out over Simons Town. Close to amenities. Our breakfast was superb served on our veranda. A wonderful stay would absolutely recommend

Million dollar view from a huge balcony, comfortable bedrooms each with an ensuite, large lounge room and a full kitchenette. The host was amazing, gave us lots of useful info and recommendations. We left a shirt behind when checked out, and the host rang us straight away and arranged to have the shirt dropped off to us while we were still in the neighbourhood. Can’t fault this place, 10/10 and one of the best stays in South Africa!

Baboons raiding the houses in the morning and stole some food from the neighbours. Please make sure you shut all the doors!

Wonderful breakfast. It was everyday the same, but for us it was great. If was in RSA already a few times, if you have a car I really recommend to spend a few days in Simons Town instead of Cape Towb. Its so much easier to go to wine farms, Cape peninsula, penguins fron Simons Town and its much more quite and the food at the restaurants never disppointed us. We would def. stay there again, we really felt home! We even got a bottle of sparkling wine, because it was our honeymoon :)

A fantastic position with a stunning view of Simonstown and False Bay below. Comfortable, well equipped self catering cottage.

Not a complaint, but there was no plug for the kitchen sink, or at least I couldn't find it. Had to borrow the bath plug.
