Our time in Durban was already shaping up to be special, but this wonderful accommodation turned it into something unforgettable. The in-room fridge was a delightful bonus – not only was it stocked with milk for our beloved tea and coffee breaks, but it also doubled as the perfect storage for our snack arsenal. The service was out standing, the breakfast good, the rooms were comfy.

When I got opened my bed to get in some type of insect came running at me, thank Goodness they had bug spray also I couldn't get a late check out neither would they just let me pack my bags and just wait a bit. Till I could leave and even when I checked out while waiting for my Uber the guy had me stand outside on the road even though it was still a few minutes before check out. That is what put me off. If not for this incident I would maybe have rebooked in future. Though it has left me with a bitter taste who charges that fee and let's the guest wait in the road for a Uber.

Liked the light, comfortable room, and the fresh milk! It was in a perfect location for our function, and the neighbourhood is quiet and safe.

Bed was a tad soft for us, but of course preferences vary. Pillows were a little too bouncy! The breakfast was excellently cooked though it was chilly on the terrace. Overall, though, we were satisfied.

Place is very clean great value for money

The breakfast was served with care by Colin himself, punctually every morning. The presentation was on point and the coffee was delectable. The only concern is the limited choice in the menu, please consider introducing some variety there! The room was kept neat and tidy daily, and the bed also made up

Spacious room and bathroom

Obviously, no water, but that was uncontrollable. Should maybe just check on making the reservation that it will be an upstairs room. There was another room available on the ground level, but it was a little dusty underfoot and on thee bathroom counter

We had to change our dates last minute and the owner had no problem with that which allowed us to spend an extra day in Durban. He was also very helpful with where we can go for sightseeing. Loved the comfort of our rooms and them being close to each other as a family. The area is also very quiet and safe.

We didn't really like the bedding in our room, plain white would have been just fine. It would be nice to have some fruit available to go with the yoghurt at breakfast. Also add a bit of gravy or beans to go with the hot breakfast.

The hosts are very welcoming and service is great. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast is excellent and the breakfast setting wonderful. It's a nice safe place to stay in a great area of Durban.

Not much to dislike. Toiletries are a small bar of soap, be sure to take your own shampoo. Other than that small issue, the accommodation is really great

Everything was great. From a fabulous breakfast, great hospitality, great location, and beautiful and homey rooms, we enjoyed every moment of our stay.
