The location of this hotel is excellent and there is plenty of parking. The security is also excellent

My husband spilled water next to the bed and not having anything to use I grabbed the white bath mat to wipe up. That bath mat was so filthy afterwards... makes me wonder just how thoroughly the floors are cleaned. They need proper scrubbing not just a quick mop!

The hotel is located in a very good location. About a 5-10 min walk to the most exciting and beautiful beach. The rooms are lovely, clean, and very quiet. The breakfast is superb. A lot of variety and covers vegetarians too. The only downside, which is beyond the hotel, is the noise from the amplified exhausts from vehicles (a new style of amplifying the exhaust). Quite annoying) that come through the windows sometimes late into the night, as the hotel is close to a busy area where there are a lot of drinking and relaxing places. But I guess it's a South African tradition for the younger generation...

The sea view of the room. Requested it and got it. Also, the room was able to cater to the family. We were with my wife and two kids. Kids loved it. Over the weekend they also organised some plays and shows for the kids to see soon after breakfast.

Location is perfect. Couldn’t be more central. The staff are exceptionally friendly. Every single staff member greeted, and were amazingly helpful, every time, without exception. Breakfast was excellent. Shower fantastic.

Small things that irritate: - Parking R55 per day NOT INCLUDED. Cheap enough not to argue but that really could have been included. - towels replaced, bins cleaned , seeming later in the day - they kept coming in to our room which was a bit intrusive, and if we didn’t answer quick enough they come right in. One time my whole family was in the room and I was sleeping! Yet they insisted and worked around me while I slept!

The location of this hotel is absolutely spot on—just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, bars, and a shopping center, which made exploring the area super convenient. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always greeting guests with a warm smile, which added a nice touch to the stay. That said, if you're looking for peace and quiet, this might not be the best fit. Being so close to the vibrant Chartwell Road has its perks, but it does get quite noisy, especially on weekend nights. The buzz of nightlife is great if you're into that scene, but light sleepers might want to pack some earplugs or look elsewhere.

I did use the laundry service, and while they eventually made it work, the process was a bit unorganized. I left my laundry at the entrance with the provided sign as instructed, then went about my morning. When I returned, my room had been cleaned—but the laundry was still there, untouched. After notifying the front desk, they collected it while I was out for the day. However, I only received it back the following morning, which added a bit of stress as I was preparing for a flight. In the end, they got it done, but I’d recommend informing the staff ahead of time or planning around it if you're on a tight schedule.

The location is incredible as it is very close to the beach and right on a strip of restaurants, sadly the sound does carry into the rooms at night. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful at all times. Rooms were large and all seemed to have a sea view, coffee station available. We also called ahead to have our three separate bookings placed in rooms close together which they graciously accommodated.

The room cleaning did seem a little inconsistent in terms of being done, but was corrected when we informed reception and done to a high standard. Rooms not sound proof so sound carries from the restaurants downstairs and also from in the passage

We arrived at about 9h30 and wanted to store our luggage before checking in at 2pm, and a receptionist jumped in to say that we could have an early check-in as they had a room ready. This was an absolute surprise and made us smile. Staff were so friendly and efficient. Maintenance was on the ball with issues reported. Housekeep so super helpful. Christmas day one of the ladies at the dinning hall said 'It's Christmas so the wait will be a while' while another jumped in to say 'The lines are moving fast so you will be seated in no time' amazing sense of comfort and helpfulness. Showers are amazing.

The pillows. Extremely uncomfortable. The coffee cups in room had lipstick stains.

My family and I stayed there for 7 days, we love it and did not think on moving once. The reception is great, the reception staff is very welcoming and warm, the check in was smooth and with lots of smiles. The location of the hotel is GREAT, lots of facilities around (restaurants, mall, 24h pharmacy, etc) 10 min walk max to the beach. The room was comfortable, good view. Every request and complain we made was attended. The access to the room felt safe because there are doors prior to room corridors that require card access , for us with small kids that was excellent because we felt we could let the kids run with no worries. There reception in the other hand can be very crowed sometimes, but understandable its a big hotel.

The cleaning staff wasn't that welcoming and lacked proper cleaning during the first days, but after we reported to reception they improved. I was disappointed for the fact that they didn't have meals/restaurant service at the hotel, not event to request a quick thing apart from the breakfast that you could pay aside to have it (we preferred to explore better options outside), so we had to eat out or order food all the time which was only inconvenient at night because the are several restaurants around and food delivery works well. There was a situation with the hair dryer (was broke), they removed and did not bring a new one even after promising.

The hotel was lovely, my only issue was the noise from the street below, cars were constantly revving and rather noisy and made sleep hard. The hotel was well maintained and the breakfast was really great with a wide variety of options for both adults and children. The beds were comfortable.

We booked for 4, two adults and two kids, the room only had 2 bath towels. The soap provided for washing hands was very strong and stripped your skin off moisture. No shower caps were provided. The bathroom shower door has some black mold at the bottom which could be cleaned. There should be a bigger bottle of water or 2 bottles for 4 people sharing.

The location is good a few metres from the beach. Lots of restaurants nearby. Our room had an excellent view. We could see the ocean. The level of assistance I got from the security guards was exceptional. They went out of their way to help me secure transport , a local cellphone line and giving directions.

Our room had a good location but had a funny smell. The manager’s letter delivered the day before our departure sounded like an eviction notice to me. Maybe it is because I am used to getting welcoming letters whenever I travel.
