The property is absolutely clean and to my surprise, when I went out and came back,there is a housekeeper who refreshed my bedroom and cleaned put in new sheets and cleaned. What an awesome experience for the price. Also if you would like to be near the lighthouse beach, oceans mall, pearls of Umhlanga, raddison Blu view this is perfect. A nice way to save but be close to every attraction.

Helen is amazing! She upgraded us without us even asking. She made sure to inform is of everything we needed to know and made us aware she's available if there are any issues. Excellent host! The place was incredible. So beautiful and lovely plants around and birds. We really enjoyed our stay. Being able to leave the property and return freely. The place was so clean and well maintained. Will definitely be going back 😁

The host was very friendly and the property was in a excellent location. The beach is close by and the area is quite . We loved our overall stay. It's highly recommended for family to take a vacation there. I will definitely be going back

Honestly they were nothing to not like. Everything was up to standard. There was never a time when i felt disappointment .I wish I had more time there

Our stay at Crooked Tree was much appreciated. Helen was friendly, accommodating, and informative.  The room was light, and well-appointed.  The bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was clean and roomy with a nice hot shower.  The location is a short walk to the restaurants, shopping, cafes and beach. I don't usually stay in B&Bs or guesthouses because I value my privacy. At Crooked Tree, I was completely comfortable. I highly recommend staying here.  If I return to Durban, I will stay here again.

There was nothing I did not like.

I was upgraded to a really nice room, overlooking the ocean. Hellen and her husband are absolutely charming and such wonderful hosts. Such a great place to relax, watch tv, and be comfy!

Everything was wonderful. Unfortunately you can't cook there even though there is a stove and stuff, so it wouldn't be ideal for my longer stays. You'll need to order in or eat out which was a little difficult for me in the weather we had at the time.

The host was so lovely and welcoming that we could not have asked for a better stay. It is conveniently located close to the mall and restaurant's. The room was beautifully set and very clean, with outstanding views. You certainly will not be disappointed in choosing crooked tree cottage as your next stay. Thank you, Helen, for your hospitality. Helen was truly friendly and welcoming. The property is very well kept and is within walking distance to Oceans Mall, restaurants and entertainment spots. Also very close to beach. Highly recommended 👌

Location away from the hustle and bustle, but easy access to beach and shops. Great breakfast and very comfortable room with lots of extras.

Host is friendly and accommodating. Prime location - close to malls, garage and restaurants. Impressive sea view from the cottage. Good value for money given the area, view and amenities. Fully equipped cottage for a comfortable stay. Apartment was clean and tidy.

Wooden flooring - noises and voices travel easily. That didn't affect me too much as the neighbours were not too noisey.

The location was great, and Helen was very accommodating. The room was comfortable and clean

The parking is a bit tight
