It was so beautiful and peaceful there. Very relaxing environment. The Cabin was nice and cozy and catered to all our needs. The view from the balcony was amazing. So many animals to see. The most thrilling was when the giraffes walked right past our vehicle. Annelien went out of her way to accommodate us and we appreciated her so much. Thank you for an unforgettable holiday. As there was a lot of rain while we were there it would have been nice if there was a roof over the braai as we couldn't braai for a lot of days because of the rain. The low water bridge was flooded from the rain and we couldn't get out to get supplies.

It’s a beautiful place with an incredible hiking trail, great facilities and really helpful staff. The website pics really don’t do it justice. There are few things that are helpful to know before getting there (this takes nothing away from the place - it’s a nice little hideout) - Make sure to bring ALL the supplies you’ll need for your stay, including coffee & sugar - Only vodacom has connectivity, otherwise you’ll drive around the property for connectivity - Must have a car charger to charge your phone in the kitchen - no plug points anywhere else, otherwise charge in your car. - Insist on a proper orientation - insist! The showers in the tents are a bit of a science LOL - In good weather any car can easily get around, in wet conditions they can pull your car out of the few puddles or the tiny bridge - very helpful Regardless of where you stay do drive around the property, even better if you walk.

The owner was fantastic / friendly. The view was amazing / green. Everything set up nice. Great value for money which was not even expensive. Our kids enjoyed the giraffes and the cutest meerkats. The braai room with the view was so nice.

The spiders and flying insects kept us entertained whole night 😂 only because we are not use to them. Our time was to short here, should have stayed longer.

The stay was a stop over on our Journey. But the staff were very friendly and accomodation. Evn walking up early to let us out of the gate. We enjoyed the game that were on the venue and had we stayed longer would have enjoyed more or the facilities. My family having never spent the night in the tent meant that this was new to them and the experienced was great. Thanks

we had a lovely time - beautiful surroundings and we loved our hike through the forest. When not being able to stop at a shop on our way in the owners kindly organised delicious game pies for us to eat. We saw many different species of antelope including impala, Nyala, kudu, gemsbok, blesbok, waterbuck and gemsbok. We had a lovely stay!

We liked everything about the property

Excellent value for service, just to kept getting better. Loved the wildlife retreat from busy city life. Perfect location for the boys and opportunity on a long travel to find rest.

Wife struggled with the shower 🚿, but she loves the water extremely hot. Perfect for myself.

The host, Mike and the workers were very friendly. Made sure our stay was comfortable. Mike was literally a text away when you needed something. Great scenery and views. Looks exactly like the pictures provided.

Didn't see that many animals but besides that, we Loved everything, just wouldn't recommend going there in winter because it's extremely cold. Freezing cold.

I love the cabin, very comfortable for a small family and has everything that you could possibly need in the kitchen. It's so beautifully decorated and the views are absolutely gorgeous

This property truly allows you to leave the city behind and escape the hustle of city life. The property is isolated in the bush, thus allowing you to relax and recharge. The self drive map is very easy to follow and the roads are in good condition. If you have a normal SUV, and not a 4*4, you can still drive unrestricted if you remain on the roads indicated for non 4*4 cars.

The house does not provide the standard 220V electricity, only solar, thus no hair dryer. This was not an issue for me, but could be a problem if a longer stay is booked. I will recommend guests wanting to use a 220V appliance for any reason, to use the shared kitchen/ bathrooms at the one camp site area, near reception.

We saw tons of animals close up! The giraffe crossed the road right in front of our car a few times. Multiple types of buck and beautiful zebra ! Had fun 4x4ing too. Really enjoyed the cabin. All together great weekend away!
