The place outside has a lot of green mould, looks dirty needs painting, and we booked 3 rooms there were cockroaches in two of those rooms. Our first night was terrible our sliding door was not closing properly, we were beaten by mosquitoes all night. Bed too small to share. Had to be moved to a different room the following morning.

Breakfast should improve One of our booked rooms was not ready at 14h00, we could only go in around 15h00. Checkout is communicated as 11h00 but when we came from breakfast the rooms were automatically locked at 10h00 and we had to ask reception to allow us in so as to take our belongings that were already packed.

We were pleasantly surprised at the value for money we got while staying at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable and the air conditioning worked extremely well. The food was simple but good. The best thing about the hotel is the location, it is superb, with an easy walk to a good swimming beach. On windy days there is a swimming pool, and water activities on the estuary.

The power plugs in our room, didn’t work over night, and the lunch time restaurant service was slow.

Second room was spacious and spotless clean, with beautiful view, all the staff was excellent , be the receptionist, the spa, the restaurant, I mean all💝

I didn’t like the first room that was allocated facing the lake, shower was small and not clean, I think it was the Lagoon, the building itself looks old.. I preferred very much the second room was too clean with lovely furniture and the view was too nice

Very good service! Staff were very welcoming and accommodating! The food was really good and catered for our dietary requirements, also a good room service menu! Full marks for the bar as well, good cocktail menu! We stayed in a family room: clean, spacious, good view and close to the restaurant and parking. The entire hotel has wifi, which was amazing! Staff set up a table in our room for our dinner!

We were not allowed to eat dinner in the dining area if we ordered from the a la carte menu. (They did make up for it, by setting up a table in our room).There should be a separate area for guests who want to order from the a la carte menu and those who want to have the buffet dinner.

The bedroom was comfortable, restaurant and staff were great.

There was a lot of sand at the entrance to the rooms which was easy to be transferred to the main area of the bedroom. Perhaps if there was a carpet to dust off. Fortunately found a broom in one of the cabinets which we used to clean from time to time. Not really hotel living…

Comfortable quiet and peaceful. Beautiful place with excellent views. Awesome bathroom facilities. Both shower and bath. Water pressure was wonderful and therapeutic.

Buffet on both nights we stayed. A la carte Menu is very limited with no options and available only as room service. Deli also not what we expected as shown on the site. Very limited. If you want to eat anything need to travel to The Wild Coast Sun.

Breakfast was great! Beautiful location. We had made a booking on the wrong day and asked to change it if possible .The hotel had a cancellation so we were able to extend our stay.We needed to move rooms.The staff moved all our packed up things while we were at the beach so it did not disrupt our day.Kiddies jumping castle and pool we’re enjoyed by the kids.The was an Easter egg hunt for the kids on Easter Sunday.Staff were always friendly,courteous and ready help.Room service available till 21:00 and the food was good.I think The Estuary is more like a 4 star establishment than the three star rating it received.

Toilets have a weak flush and get blocked easily.

The view was excellent. Room was clean and comfortable.

I was not informed about the parking next to the rooms. We carried our luggage from the psrking lot through the reception and restaurant. I had to fetch the car later after realising that there's parking close to the rooms. We couldn't sleep at night, there was too much noise. Teenagers were running up and down the stairs, it was just too much. Even my children were complaining in the morning.

Extracter fans should be fitted in the bathrooms to eliminate the musty smell and for proper ventilation. The reception area should be upgraded to create an welcoming atmosphere. There should be stricter control in place in regards to vehicles and people entering the premises in order to promote safety for the personal and the visitors alike.

I didn't like the lagoon facing accommodation because they were in need of upgrading and maintenance. Really untidy.
